So sick of the flyovers as a pet owner

I live in the Crystal City/Pentagon City area and all these low altitude flyovers are making my cats so stressed out. Not sure WHY they need to fly this close to my apartment building when the 12 people who want to see this are at the National Mall getting heatstroke but the noise is even putting me on edge at this point.

My heart goes out to anyone else trying to handle stressed out pets or kids with this constant noise and I can’t wait for all of this to just be over already.

Removing pollen stains from carpet?

Hi all, I just moved the rubber mat my cat water fountain was sitting on and the carpet has pollen stains and probably some water damage. Any idea how to get the pollen stains out? Carpet was already a little damp (will need to figure out a different place for the water fountain obviously) so I’m working with a stain that’s already pretty set.

It doesn’t need to be a perfect fix - I’m living in a pre-renovated apartment in a building that is ripping out carpet and replacing it with those gray laminate wood flooring when people move out so I just need it to look not like this lol.

Had such an insane time at the Philly concert, the crowd was awesome and all of the bands were out of this world. I’m now wishing I was also going to the Baltimore show on Monday
