Decided after I got home from dinner with the wife Friday night to go ahead and install the software update. Had not driven the truck since then. Went to start to truck this morning and the battery was completely dead. From what I have read that the update glitched and drained the battery. Then the display had the nerve to tell me the update was unsuccessful and to try again. So lesson learned, let it update, then check on it afterwards to be sure it went through and didnt get stuck in a cycle. I will now look at my truck as a gigantic computer and never assume everything works right and check on it. From what I have read on the internet, I am not the only person that this has happened to as well.
