Would you recommend buying mavis tires?

I am having an issue with my 2015 Honda Fit wobbling when I drive any speed over 15mph. Earlier today I drove down state and the tire pressure light came on. I checked all the tires and they appeared to be fine. At highway speed the car feels like the seats are vibrating. I went to a mechanic today that said that the tires are so old that the treads are worn in to the point that there are indents and bulges causing the car to shake when in motion. He is charging $675 for new tires, installation and I think balancing.

I’m considering purchasing and installing tires at Mavis for cheaper. Would y’all recommend?

Conflicted over which living space I should rent with my partner.

Hi, my partner and I are early on in our careers and each earn around $47k a year. We toured 2 apartments today, one of which is $600 each to live alone and the other is $300 to live in a house with another couple. Given our pros and cons list and our yearly earning (keep in mind that my car insurance is insane and is about $480 a month) could we afford to live in the preferable 1 bedroom 1 bathroom $600 each a month apartment?

Apartment # 1

pros:
\-electricity and wifi is included in rent (600$ each)
\-we get to live alone, but in a populated area (alone, but not lonely)
\-friend lives in the building
\- we can foster cats
\- bed is provided
\- landlord is GOATED
cons:
\-have to get all our own furniture
\-coin operated laundry
\-more expensive
\-no dishwasher
\-laundry is shared with whole building

Apartment #2
pros:
\-CHEAP AS HELL (300$ a month)
\- owner has several adorable cats

cons:
\-have to buy our own bed
\-have to get our own furniture
\-Not the safest area
\-sharing a space with a couple in there late 20s who have lived in the house for multiple years and are fairly established
\-more awkward having friends over
\-Farther away from friends and restaurants

Part of tail light broke off after clipping the side of my house

Do you think this is fixable with some glue, or should I pay $200 to have the tail light totally replaced? Mechanic raised some concerns about it fogging up in the rain and in the winter if I glue it back together, are their concerns valid or are they just trying to make money off me?
