Elem to college, class mayors, governors, student governments, and even group leaders, are often women. Why is it opposite outside school?

I'm a transferee who is underloaded right now because I'm done with my minors and I can't take higher level courses.

How does cross-enrolling into other department subjects work?

What I love about Malazan is that you jump straight into a world that's been moving for years, without caring if you're able to follow. I love how I'm just a visitor trying to experience this vast world.

I only know a little about the DC universe. Picking up a random Batman issue scratched that same itch for me. Characters talk as if you already know Crisis events since the 70's. And so many Superheroes with their own long running series just pop out of nowhere and they already know each other.

They casually mention a time when the universe almost ended or that a radioactive villain blew up Nightwing's city, and I'm just like, "Woah."

But the good part is that most of Malazan lore will probably not be explored unless Erikson decides to write a Malazan Silmarillion in the future. Every history in DC was an actual story that was published years ago, so I'm excited to pick that up in the future.

And if you think about it, this was probably how people enjoyed comic books before the internet.
