So I was just informed yesterday after the ride that our group plans to leave first thing Friday morning and I was the only one that didn’t know. No mention of this in the months of planning leading up to this week. So needless to say I’m pretty disappointed, I packed for seven days and was planning to dip my tire.
I just can’t stand to watch NBC-Peacock’s coverage of cycling and their constant ad breaks. I have a VPN and last season I was fairly successful streaming the Australian SBS coverage, but occasionally I would get interruptions and “video playback error” prompts. This season, I can’t watch for more than a couple minutes before I get interrupted. I can’t figure out if it’s a problem with the VPN settings, browser settings or what. I’ve tried turning off the ad blocker, tried adjusting the settings within the vpn app, but nothing works. I’m using ProtonVPN, is that a problem? (Last year I was using Mulvad) Is Firefox the wrong browser?
Someone please help, I can’t watch any more commercials on NBC
P. S. I don’t want to go to some VPN, or streaming subreddit to ask either, I figured I could get answers here…
Crowd seemed kinda low-energy, but the band was hot! Brooklyn Bowl was cool, smelled like popcorn all night. Good sight lines and friendly staff.
