Looking for contemporary Japanese authors who write like they actually respect my attention span. I've been reading some Japanese authors and I'm hooked on their clarity. There's something about sentences that are short, precise, and perfectly weighted ; no baroque excess, no unnecessary subordination. It's a style they do better than almost anyone. What contemporary writers should I check out next?
