:(

I’m not really sure where to start with this, but I’ve been feeling pretty discouraged about my workload during evening shifts.

It feels like management expects me to zone everything whenever I’m working evenings, even though I’m already a Health & Beauty associate and I’m frequently pulled to Fashion, Homelines, and Toys to help out. Today, one of the managers asked me to zone both Homelines and HBA, knowing that those are some of the hardest departments to get through.

I worked on all the go-backs for both departments first and then started zoning Homelines. Since I only had about three hours, I was only able to finish zoning Homelines and take care of the go-backs I found throughout the aisles. I didn’t even have enough time to get to HBA.

I’m bringing this up because sometimes it feels like too much is being put on me while other departments seem to have more downtime. For example, I’ll see OGP associates on their phones or Front End associates standing around when the store isn’t busy, while I’m trying to get through multiple departments and keep everything zoned.

I don’t mind helping out or getting my work done, but it can be frustrating when I’m given a lot of responsibilities within a short amount of time and then feel like I’m not doing enough because I couldn’t finish everything. Today, I was honestly just zoning and feeling really discouraged

Undo accept request.

let say there is a stranger thats messaging me. initially i have the option to accept, delete or block that person. I accidentally chose accept, and now this person keep messaging me. Is there a way to undo this? so that this stranger will be kept in requests section in instagram?

i tried searching and looking it up, but seems like there is no answer to this except updating ur profile to stuff like these:

- close ur seen status

- mute that person

- block that person

however, i dont want to do these, is there an undo button to everything and it all starts with a message request??

Tired of selfish customers

so yesterday, a customer wanted me to open an elf brand eyebrow pencil that came in plastic packaging, but I told her I couldn’t since the packaging would be damaged. We then looked at nyx brand that came in a box, and I said we could take a look at the product and put it back since it could be repackaged. She wanted to compare the shades, so I opened one and showed it to her. While she was looking at it, I reminded her that it wasn’t a tester and that she couldn’t try it. Despite that, she swatched it on her hand before I could stop her. I told her again, “Ma’am, you can’t test it.” Then she asked if she could buy a brand-new unopened one instead. I just don’t understand people who insist on using a product and then expect a fresh one for themselves, without thinking that another customer might end up buying the one they already used.

Im new to taking classes in ivc

never taken classes from ivc, i only take in saddleback.

there is this particular class im hoping to get in fall term. saddleback only offers at evening tim, while i have other classes in the morning. saying this, it would be hard for me to manage the time gap in between 4+ hours. i saw the classes offered in ivc that suit my schedule. the only thing is, the course code are different, though they have the same course title. what should I do? context; its the data structure class ( cs1d in saddleback & ivc cs41)

thanks for the help!!

About turn it in

whenever I upload on turn it in, it provides me a similarity report. do professor get the same report? bc my professor once accused me of using ai because the similarities were in the citations, do they get to know in depth and why is he accusing me? does he have any other information that turn it in generates? just wondering if its worth the risk to ask him directly about it
