I think this show already understands the concept of fear far better than the 2011 movie ever did — and it’s not even close.

This time I can actually feel how fear can affect a Lantern’s mindset. I guess in a way, Hal fears leaving the job and possibly just having a regular life.

John is afraid of failing.

In comics and lighter TV adaptations, overcoming fear usually feels much easier than it does in a show like this.

Mostly because this version feels grounded.

You guys will probably disagree, but honestly, I’m really happy with it :)

Appreciation post for “$10 Cowboy.” It doesn’t seem to get much love these days, but to me it marks a major leap in craftsmanship for Charley.
