Wondering if there are any realistic options for repairing the corrosion on this frame? I've seen this before and I've not had any experience treating or repairing this type of corrosion with any lasting success. Just seems like a cancer that keeps coming back and spreading......

Did some wheeling and dealing on Facebook Market place and just brought home this Galmod Mohai Mountain Bike. Not sure of the date of manufacture but from what I could find seems like this was possible built in the late 90's and is somewhat rare. It needs a chain but everything else looks good to go.....
