What antivirus would you recommend/use as a freelancer?

Hi! I'm starting to work as a freelancer, starting as a QA tester for a friend of mine, but for those types of job where you need to download a doc, excel, apk, (like for translations), how do you proyect yourself in case that there's virus on those files? I'm an anxious person and these kind of scenarios make me uncomfortable and feel with paranoia

I got my first freelancer project :D

I just created my Upwork account, with the help of AI, I was able to find my niche, and got accepted my propposal for 15 usd per hr, I'm really excited about this job and I feel that I actually enjoy it, I am currently adding time manually, for some reason I can't seem to be able use the Upwork timer, I try to open it from the browser and nothing works, still I am being very accurate with my manual time being added like specifying what was I doing and of course, just working time counted

Should I worry? Part of me believes this is too good to be true and other part of me things I deserve this

My client has reviews, and have payment method verified, also it seems that they have been spending a couple of thousand bucks in the platform already

If you could advise your previous "you" before starting teaching in Preply

Hi there! I'm really nervous and unsure about if starting or not as a Preply tutor, I'm 23 and I need to start making money with the knowledge that I've got, don't want it to go to waste... I haven't have any student yet nor sure I wanna, yet... my first oficial student is my wife, who I teach spanish, the fact that I want to not make mistakes makes me hesitate even more, about me wanting to have the materials and deliver a very good experience to the student is holding me back, I'd love to hear any advise or suggestions for a tutor noob lol, also if you've got any experience in other teaching platforms like Superprof or Italki, thanks in advance!

And yeah... kinda need a job, so, cannot afford an average job 6+ hrs bc I am also studying software eng.

Tips & Suggestions for new tutors

Hii! I'm really excited about starting being a language tutor, I'd just like to ask a few tips or recommendations, it could be from people who seek for a tutor in iTalki or iTalki tutors that already have experience

So far I'm not in yet, seems to be always full for my language.

However here are some questions:

How important is to you that your tutor is certificated? (Like TEFL certificate for english or ELE certificate for spanish)

What do you expect in the trial lessons?

What do you need in a tutor?

Would you pick a cheap tutor or an expensive tutor? (In case of being an expensive tutor, how much are you willing to pay as a max?)

I have ADHD so my lessons are not really typical, not following the book but I enjoy them that way making them dynamic always following a plan so we reach a goal.

Thank you for your time in advance.

Short-acting or long-acting methyphenyldate?

Hii! I'm 23 years old and I've tried both of them actually, I just wanted to see if anyone out there may think the same

I know each person's experience is gonna be different for many factors, but just wanted to see your comments

I've tried Tradea 10 mg short-acting and Tradea 54 mg long-acting, both of them worked for me, I'm also anxious, and yeah have my app already with the psychiatrist, but am I the only one that with both feels that the heart starts to bump faster? With the prolonged version I feel the heavy feeling on the chest more often, I changed my coffee to decaffeinated bc I love coffee but I remember I used to take the short-acting Tradea with coffee and it was cool yeah maybe dumb, yeah, dumb, since I'm anxious I kinda can't stop thinking about my heart, my father has diabetes and my grandpa (mother's side) died bc of a heart attack

Yeah I'm not looking for any doctor here, I have mine, just looking forward to know your experience, I stopped meds bc of money situation but honestly, my life is 10 times harder without them, so I'm just back on track with it I work and study from home so it is really easy to just not get any work done

I'm open to suggestions, thanks for your attention lol!
