Uncrank'd Magazine!

Recently received a few issues of Uncrank'd magazine! It's clear that it's a project of passion and love for the Playdate community. Wanted to pass it on to my fellow Playdate fans in case you had not heard of Uncrank'd. There's an Uncrank'd Discord too! I've been able to chat with a few Playdate devs. Many have been so kind and even asked for player feedback! When do you ever get a chance to talk with the game Dev? That's so cool! Love my Playdate! The whole Playdate community has been really awesome 😎

Super Noob with Questions

I prefer to play on a handheld device rather than a TV. I own a Playdate and absolutely love that little guy. Nothing quite like it. However, I finally decided after a bit of research to purchase a handheld so I can play all the games I loved as a child. I decided (obviously) on a Miyoo Mini Plus. But I have questions, so I would really appreciate a few pointers please!

I already purchased the Miyoo on Amazon with Onion OS, but it hasn't arrived yet.

So in the meantime I did some research and purchased the 128 GB Surwish Onion OS SD Card from litnxt. I believe mostly all of the retro games I could probably want are on that. (please correct me if I am wrong.)

Next I will purchase a better speaker from etsy, and some type of case or grip also.

I know there are better buttons for front and back available, but I will pick those up a bit later.

So, my questions are:

Am I missing anything?
Can I install GBA and other games from itch.io on this? I saw a game called Goodboy Galaxy I really want to play. If so, where would it be in the library on the Miyoo? Does it just install with the other GBA games?
Does Onion OS show a brief clip of gameplay or a summary of each game as you scroll through the menu?

Thank you ALL for your time. I really would like to tap into your experiences so I can get the most out of my Miyoo when it arrives in about a week or so! I am very excited to dig in!

Just received a few issues of Cranko! magazine. I'm in the US so it's tricky to get here, but the magazines are fantastic! Really nice to read. Not large, about the size of a comic book, but loaded with articles and artwork. Even came with game map posters like the old Nintendo Power magazines used to have.

Again, not easy to get in the United States, but worth the effort. I had someone in Canada forward them to me actually.... Just wanted to spread the word in case anyone was interested in getting them and showing support for the effort being made to support Playdate gamers out there.
