Paradigm Premier V2 vs V1 Centers

I’ve been planning on getting a paradigm premier 600c to add to the 600 monitors I already have. I was close to pulling the trigger months ago when it was 20% off but missed making it before the sale ended. Have been planning to buy once they went 20% off again but now see there’s a new V2 line that’s higher priced. It sounds like they’re better, but it kind of prices me out.

Does paradigm have any kind of refurb sales?

Edit: Anyone tried the v2 speakers?

First Boss You Struggled On?

I’ve killed most of the bosses in the starting area and even the lvl 43 boss but have been stuck on the bandit king. I’ve gotten him down to 50% hp without taking any damage using 2 atk spells, but just didn’t finish him off. I’m probably on my 20th attempt on him. I’ve tried the movement speed armor with a defensive skill, but it’s very slow going damage wise and even 1 mistake means I’m behind. I’m thinking I’ll get it with scholars blood and some potions.

Was this a tough boss for anyone else? I’m guessing there are at least 10 other bosses tougher than him so I’m expecting to struggle more on other bosses. I’d have moved on from this one if he wasn’t a block towards getting better gear.

Edit: I’m playing on the PS5 and on brutal.

What’s Out There And Upcoming?

What are the top survival games out there now and what’s coming up soon and within the next couple years that’s expected to be better than all/nearly all existing survival games?

I’ve been enjoying Subnautica, but it hasn’t blown me away or really kept me addicted like a few other games have. I like that you need to progress the base building and craft heavily to advance the game but it does lack combat and maybe that’s what I’m missing. I also would love if progression in a game is partially tied to cleaning up or purging a town or area of bad guys with the people appreciating and providing things to help you progress in the game.

This would be too much to ask for but if there was a game that like KCD2 that made gear and story progression very heavily tied to building a base and crafting, then it would be my favorite game of all time.

At some point I want to get V Rising. Seems like the perfect blend of RPG/base building/crafting where the crafting and base building are important to progression. I would try a more survival heavy game like The Forest or its sequel, but it sounds like base building actually puts you at a disadvantage. I play Grim Soul Survival on my phone and V Rising seems like a much better version. Wish there were more top down survival games like V Rising that have RPG elements that don’t have trash graphics.

I’ve heard of Valheim, the RuneScape survival game, and Enshrouded. I’ll have to check each of these out, but how likely are any of these 3 to be top survival RPG games? Anything coming out in 2027 or 2028 that might blow everything out of the water? I get that pure survival games are very niche and don’t get the same development as other genres.

Worth Getting on PS5?

Seems like the game is a lot better with mods, with some players feeling like the game was purposely bland in some areas with the expectation that players would mod it. Well only if you play on PC.

It’s on a deep sale on PS5 at $15. I really enjoyed KCD2 and this feels similar in some ways. I know the campaign, graphics, and dialogue are going to be worse than KCD2, but if the group battles and growth in the game is fun then it could be worth it.

Will You Root for Other CONCACAF Nations in the WC?

Will you root for other CONCACAF Nations in the WC?

I’ll root for them all, even Mexico. I’d rather have Europe and South America respect our region.
