Finished watching Pose.
I think it's within me to get into fandoms late or to watch series that has ended years ago (The last one I finished before Pose was House MD). I first saw Pose whilst doomscrolling on youtube shorts. I think the first one I saw was Elektra defending Blanca (yes, first when she wore that shorttttt wig). I got hooked and just watched clips first on the yt feed as the algorithm seemed to notice I was liking it. Then, I reallyyyy was interested. I started watching it.
I would watch 2-3 episodes per day, I think, and there was never a day/night where I didn't cry. It got worse each season, I was sobbinggg. I don't know if it hit too close to home? I've been thinking a lot about my self. My physical self. About how I see myself while looking in the mirror, how deep down I have the urge to shave off my chest. It's just really been a thought and it's placed last on the list of my problems. I'm still just so young. I have my whole life to figure it out. What striked me really, is when it's about a character's blood relative. I haven't even outed myself to my family that I'm pansexual, that I'm not straight. What would they even say if they ever know about those thoughts of mine? I'm scared but I know I'll have to say it someday.
Pose will be one of those series I can rewatch over and over again, one that's close to my heart. Gosh, I wished there were 10 seasons of this but the ending actually felt right to me.
Lastly, what other shows can anyone recommend I watch? I don't know if I'd like something similar to Pose but maybe something that will give me the same feeling? Just need another show as good as it.
