Ok No Fusion gang, I need some clarification

I love this app. It is revolutionary. It's what Halide wishes it was, but so SO much better in every way. I use it whenever possible, but I am constantly fumbling with the pipelines and exports and conversions.

Rather than sit here and try to explain how I understand it (which I'm sure is wrong), let me write out what I wish to happen, or how I would prefer my workflow to go:

  • Take photo as 48MP RAW file (without Apple's processing, but maximum quality)
  • That RAW photo is not saved w/ any lossy previews
  • Retain the ability to edit as Negative Film in-app
  • Convert and export edited Negative Film as HEIF+ for saving/posting
  • Archive the original 48MP RAW file in maximum file size

Right now, I'm shooting Negative Film using the ProRAW pipeline, but that file in my camera roll is ~20MB, does not display as RAW in the album, and when I AirDrop to my Mac, it's under 10MB. I then try to export the photo using the sharesheet in my camera roll and "Export unmodified originals" but it's trying to export two files. Which means it's saving both a RAW & HEIC/JPG preview if I understand it correctly.

I've tried reading posts here and watching tutorials, but there's so many combinations that I am having a hard time determining what's already been explained, so I'm hoping this may help!
