Indication of leaking rivets?
Getting a boat ready to go in the water, sat for a few years. Is this an indication those rivets leak? Picture looks worse than it is, it’s just like crusty water stains
Thanks

I just need to be yelled at..
Ordered a power head gasket and didn’t realize until now it’s the wrong one. They’re closed until Monday, and will likely have to order it again.
Copper rtv? Bad idea? I assume so…
Edit.. old gasket is still on power head and not ripped??
Ok, I know this is boat is scrap. Was in an accident and came off the trailer, one dent underneath.
I got it in a trade, basically free. Swivel bracket and the cowl pan on the motor were busted, but it ran. So I’ve swapped those and I’m waiting on a gasket for the power head.
I need to test the motor once back together so I can sell it.
Has one leak, I’m going to slap some jb weld on it.
I know it’s clearly going to have some handling issues, my question is.. I live beside a small lake, do a lot of fishing. Will this survive some very low speed floating around in a small lake on a calm day? Not far from shore, no getting on plane..
The creasing scares me. Ultimately, it is going to scrap. I just would like to sell the motor to put towards a new boat first. Just looking for opinions from people familiar with this.
Thanks.
I acquired a boat through a deal that was in an accident and came off the trailer.
Motor runs great and moves, but the swivel bracket is cracked and I’ve attached a picture of another crack. I can get a swivel bracket cheap, but I’m not sure what to do about this other crack.
I’m mechanically inclined, but not much experience with boats. It appears to me I would have to replace the mid section, or is this a suitable candidate for weld? Not the best picture, I didn’t think about posting or I would have gotten a better one.
Thanks
I’m a tech looking for a decent sub for techs.
Because I every time I try to post in HVAC it gets deleted and even after answering the questions I have now been banned lol
Thanks
I’m looking into challenging the 313D this year and I’m wondering what books helped anyone who’s challenged? I’ve read about the refrigeration and air conditioning technology book, it’s on like the 10th or 11th edition now. Is that worth it or is there another recommended?
Thanks. Not interested in attending hi mark.
Edit: I can get older editions of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology much cheaper, I assume like all of these exams they’re outdated and I’d probably be safe with an older version?
Hey guys, I’ve decided to hang up the dirtbike boots for the most part and to get into mountain biking. Dilemma - I’m broke.
My local bike shop is having a yard sale tomorrow and Friday, where everyone brings in their used bikes they’d like to sell. I’ve done a bit of research. I’m looking to spend 5-700 Canadian. Not a lot, but I feel like that’s a reasonable used number for an alright hardtail.
I don’t know what’s going to be there, but I assume my range (based off my marketplace searches) is going to be like storms, maybe some marlins, rock hoppers, and talons.
So even if I don’t find anything, those are my marketplace options. Should I stay away from any of those bikes? Aim to find a certain one?
Mainly green trails, awfully flat where I am.
Thanks.
