Delta Resuming Mainline Service; Bringing Bigger Planes to Columbus Airport

Yesterday, Delta Airlines announced that they are bringing mainline service back to Columbus Airport and bringing larger, more comfortable Boeing 717's with it!

Starting on June 12th, Friday and Saturday mid-day flights will switch over from Delta Connection service with CRJ-900s to Delta Airlines mainline service with Boeing 717s. Expect larger aircraft, better seating, bigger overhead bins, more amenities, and a smoother ride.

If you are like me and like to fly out of Columbus when connecting to other destinations, you know that the CRJ fleet is a little dated and lacks amenities so this is a very welcome announcement.

This is a great first step in making Columbus Airport a more utilized and capable airport. So lets pack these flights so Delta Airlines sees the interest and takes over more flights with better aircraft. Not to mention, packing these flights is one of the best ways to show Columbus Airport supports more destinations to low cost carriers like Allegiant and Breeze.

What's everyone getting this year? Seems like more e-waste than usual.

Rumor has it that Goodwill has a gang of mercenary pirates hitting the streets filling Uhaul trailers with items for resale.

Is anyone else unable to escape these sloppy-ass Ryan Millsap ads? Why would a California grifter want to rep a district whose crown jewel he considers a hellhole? Why not take it on back to Burbank?
