Dems flipped Republican-since-1999 seat in a +18 Trump House District in PA this week. But roll over and take you Gaines-ing, I guess. It's what we deserve.

Commission meeting right now

Hurr durr. My name is Willard P. "Saggypants" Jones. More ADUs will make my property value go down and make homes more spensive at the same time. Why caint youngs today fix them up a fixer-upper? Herp derp bootstraps. Property rights durr. But for old whites only. Cedar Creek durr. Unfair. Hurp. Wait 6 months till Daddy Dexter is in charge. A Japanese can build 62 apartments inside Dexter's single family house. Derp.

Seriously, how do we remove a mod?

Looks like we have to ask another mod to do it.

I have had my share of beef with this moderator, but this no politics thing is a bridge too far. This so and so needs to go. Other mods, if you're listening, I hope you'll save the 42000 of us from this tyranny.

MAGA NIMBYs on parade tonight

ADU discussion with the Mayor and Commission is getting wacky. One guy says everyone is going to build a high rise gulag in their backyard. Another guy says he has never seen so many collared shirts in one place. Lissy Link wants to replace her carport with a granny house. The Mayor-elect is worried about intrastructure, whatever he thinks that is, and wants to take our zoning back to the drawing board.

Delancey guy?

What happened to the Pam Delancey campaign shill? He burned bright for a few weeks, then left us. At one point he was beseeching local redditors to get on the Pam train and rally around her if she were to win the primary. Then *poof*. Nothin.

Land Rover mechanic?

I know: "In this economy?!" Can anyone recommend a fair, independent mechanic who knows Land Rovers? Specifically, I'm looking for help with a late-ish model Range Rover Sport. I need a second opinion, followed by some wrenchin' Prefer Northeast GA, but anywhere in the state is fine, as it's going to need a costly tow. I'm a pretty competent shadetree type, but I have gone as far as I'm willing to go without a peek by someone much more experienced with these jawns. Thanks!

Delta Resuming Mainline Service; Bringing Bigger Planes to Columbus Airport

Yesterday, Delta Airlines announced that they are bringing mainline service back to Columbus Airport and bringing larger, more comfortable Boeing 717's with it!

Starting on June 12th, Friday and Saturday mid-day flights will switch over from Delta Connection service with CRJ-900s to Delta Airlines mainline service with Boeing 717s. Expect larger aircraft, better seating, bigger overhead bins, more amenities, and a smoother ride.

If you are like me and like to fly out of Columbus when connecting to other destinations, you know that the CRJ fleet is a little dated and lacks amenities so this is a very welcome announcement.

This is a great first step in making Columbus Airport a more utilized and capable airport. So lets pack these flights so Delta Airlines sees the interest and takes over more flights with better aircraft. Not to mention, packing these flights is one of the best ways to show Columbus Airport supports more destinations to low cost carriers like Allegiant and Breeze.

What's everyone getting this year? Seems like more e-waste than usual.

Rumor has it that Goodwill has a gang of mercenary pirates hitting the streets filling Uhaul trailers with items for resale.

Is anyone else unable to escape these sloppy-ass Ryan Millsap ads? Why would a California grifter want to rep a district whose crown jewel he considers a hellhole? Why not take it on back to Burbank?
