Age range: 5–9 (chapter book, ~6,000 words, ~20-minute read)
Genre: Cozy mystery, fully illustrated
Synopsis: When twelve special cupcakes vanish from the bakery right before the town's Spring Tea Festival, Nina, the cat detective follows her nose across the village to find them — with a dramatic kitten sidekick, a trail of clues, and a warm, gentle ending (no scary villains).
What I'm looking for: honest private feedback from parents, grandparents, teachers, or librarians who read with young kids — did your child stay interested, was anything confusing, could you follow the mystery, did the ending land. I have a short feedback form to make it easy.
