Working on my daughter’s senior book and I like the disc bound option that HP offers, BUT I’d like to have a custom cover made….Any creators in this group?!

I’ve been a Happy Planner user and lover for years but struggle to use mine to their full potential each year. I’ve contemplated the Commit 30 planner off and on over the years, and find myself again looking at it for 2027…I’m curious if anyone here has ever tried anything else?

Looking for recommendations for photographer for senior pictures. My daughter has some ideas in mind but would benefit from professional direction for poses, locations etc. Wondering who C’ville parents have used and loved, thanks in advance!

My son (19) bought his first vehicle, a 2007 Xterra with about 206k miles. The other night we noticed his battery light and brake light came on while driving but no other issues. (New battery and alternator from previous owner put in last year). Lights went off a day or so later, then Tuesday evening truck wouldn’t start. Mechanic says alternator is defective, battery is new but dead, likely drained by alternator.
Question: Can they test the alternator if the truck isn’t running? What questions should I ask when I call. I’ve had several Xterras over the years and something seems a little wonky with their diagnosis. Wanted to see what others thought. Thanks in advance!!

Rented a house the week of the 6th, just checked the weather and am super bummed to see rain on the forecast the whole week…I grew up coming to OBX every summer but it’s my kids’ first experience and I’m sad to think they’ll have rain the whole week.

Lie to me and say the weather really does change its mind every 15 minutes…

We kept our out of town dentist for years after moving because they were so great, looking for one here in Cville but not sure we have confidence in our current dental office, after today’s appointment for my teenager. Looking for recommendations…Who does Cville like, and bonus points if you share why. Thanks in advance!
