I just found a Voightlander Bessa-R3M 250th anniversary edition at a good price, should I keep it.

I find this camera aesthetically perfect. Obviously great glass as well blah blah. I take photography seriously and j will never be able to afford an M6.

Paid 165000yen (about $1000) with a heliar 50mm f2. This was from a high end thrift shop in Tokyo, six month warranty, no box, no papers. I think I really lucked out here.

Question is, should I keep it, or sell it? I'm terrified of investing in the system given some of the things I've heard about reliability? Anybody have any takes on this?

I can't even find info on this camera really, the Voightlander Bessa-R3M 250 Jahre has only 1000 in black. What would you do? (I know, give it to you, I get it haha)

Thanks!

I'm an idiot, help me with my heartbreak, what should I do here?

Somehow, I've lost the battery hatch door on my beloved Seiko Grand Quartz [4843-8100] and I'm not sure how to find a replacement, any suggestions?

Buying a parts watch seems expensive considering the replacement cost of the watch. Seiko and GS had nothing for me.

I'm currently in Tokyo if this helps your response!

Edit: I'm open to this not being an original part, exploring all options before paying too much money for a broken watch just for the door.

South East Asia on Film

Not much of a street photographer (damn it requires a lot of work) - bought my first film cameras a year ago and I've been trying to find my place in the medium. Finally feeling like I'm making a little progress.

EDIT: I had this random video on my IG go mega viral this year (right now 2.5mil views and thousands of followers), unfortunately it has nothing to do with photography and it totally fucked my algorithm recommendations.

With all this said, if you like my photography PLEASE give me a follow and some likes otherwise I'll be trapped in this awful recommendation Algo for eternity!

Finally feeling like I don't suck.

Bought my first cameras a year ago and I've been working hard this year to get up to speed. Finally feeling like my work is getting better.

I started film photography a year ago and jumped right into the m645, needless to say to all you lovely people I absolutely love it. Here's a few of my favourites from this year. I'm finally starting to feel like I'm not terrible which is a nice change!

Finally feeling like I don't fully suck. [Olympus OM-1n & Mamiya 645, 250d & Kodak Gold 120]

Coming up on my first full year of photography, and finally feeling a little more confident. The last few months have yielded some shots that don't make me feel miserable and undisciplined (yay!). Here's a few of my recent favourites.

Are all of you constantly dealing with broken cameras?

It's analog, it's old, I get it. But I feel like I'm constantly dealing with repairs to the point of frustration and it's not feeling worth it.

I shoot on an Olympus Om-1n, all three of mine are currently fucked up with light meter issues (I know, electronics, they break, I can also externally light meter).

This month alone both of my XA2s broke (expected, electronic), same with my Autoboy 3. And not my mamiya 645 is acting up *scream*. My canonet is also being repaired.

Is this just par for the course? Am I just buying lemons? What are you guys using that seems bulletproof? What should I do here (besides buy an M6 lol)?
