I got this ranger for 3.5k and am about 5k into it now, it’s got 250xxx on the clock and a few issues, little play in tail shaft (dropped once at 80kmph already), play in the transfer case and a bit of a noise when in 4wd, throws 5th gear out with any torque (can be held in place), and some cosmetic issues. I want some outside advice as I think (in terms of having a good 4wd rig) I would be better off doing this up then buying something else. For like 10k I could fix all drive train issues get a rear locker while I’m at it, a bigger lift and probs 33s and whatever shit I could get, and I think this Ute with 10k more spent on it would be a better Ute than if I sold this for like 5k and and put in another 10k to buy like a 15k hilux. The motor on this has blow by but doing the cap test it stays but rattles a bit. Idk just want some advice do I do this up or just by a ln106 or smthing. P.S it’s a 2007 PJ ranger with a 3.0L TD
