With Mother 4 prob never happening at this point and Itoi getting older, do you think itd be more likely for Nintendo to make a spiritual successor to the franchise instead of a new game?

I like rock the most, but I will listen to almost anything, and before people suggest Edoardo Bennato, I already listen to him.

Ik it would probably never happen or at least not for a long time, but a silent hill game about internalized homophobia would fit so well and could be so good. Espically with all the symbolism and how smart the writing could be.

So i finished Cereza and the lost demon, and I really enjoyed it, (FUCK Morgana, actually evil af) but for the demon sacrifice to get her son, why didnt she just make a deal with a new demon and sacrifice it? I know the Faries banished her, but why didnt she just sneak back in? Was there a banishing spell or something?

Idk if this is a hotake and I know they might sanitize it, but they really need an M rated IP IMO and theyre already so tied with bayonetta and the chance of getting a 4th game starting to get lower and lower; i think if this did happen it definitely will be not the same, but I think it could still hold the same bayonetta charm and vibe. What do you think? I know they already fund the games, im talking full on buying the franchise and making the games themselves.
