He has yet to call a State of Emergency. Until he does, the Federal Government cannot step in.

At the same time, he is sending crews to help out Minnesota. And while I am supportive of helping, he is holding up resources to support our families.

Been visiting someone lately, and had a few visits last year. I am excited for the cardiac unit and understand the disruptions. But there are so many issues outside of that.

• New visitors parking has no sidewalk or place to walk (side of the road is slim as it goes into a ditch). Makes it slightly dangerous walking in
• Hard to find rooms. 2a, 2b, 2c mean nothing when you are looking for a room number.
• The distance those with challenges have to walk flat out lacks compassion. I know certain visitors that won't go, because the cannot do the long distance to the hospital. There should be some sort of transport system like they do in airports for those that cannot make the distance
• And this may seem small, but it is like many staff are just conditioned by all of this and seem so cold.

Without any warning or communication, they were blocking traffic at every point of Waterloo so they could move yellow vehicles. Not indicating to drivers timeframes or anything.

Remember that the City is putting on Treasure Exchange Days. Put stuff your unwanted treasures on your front porch, mark free, and someone will find a place to love them.

K, a few rules

1. Sidewalks are for using. If they are built, do not walk in the middle of the road. I get it if it is raining or snowing, but the two yuppies I just came across in this beautiful weather have to stop it.

2. They are not for parking. No excuses. To many times, as a walker, I come across a big truck right in the middle of the sidewalk. What frustrates me more is there is plenty of room on the road, and many times, even to pull fully into your driveway. If you do this, you are what some people call a "dick head"

3. If it is not a sidewalk, but a paved large pathway like at Chapples, you do not have to take up the whole pathway so that others have to walk on the road. In Grade 1, they taught us to walk on the right side of the pathway, so do it (yes, if it is a road, you should walk on the left side so you can see traffic).
