iPhone XR Heating Up Like Crazy After 🔋 Replacement + iOS 18

I had the battery replaced ( from authorized service center)on my iPhone XR, but after 6–7 months, especially since updating to iOS 18, the phone has started heating up like crazy. Even with normal apps, it gets hot enough to feel like a hot iron.
Has anyone else experienced similar heating issues with an XR on iOS 18? It’s my secondary phone, which I mainly use for CarPlay, but the overheating is honestly becoming a headache.

Is studying Polity in so much depth(M Puri Sir) really necessary for UPSC Prelims?

I have a doubt regarding Polity preparation for UPSC CSE Prelims.
I’ve watched around 6–7 lectures of M. Puri Sir’s GS Foundation course. His teaching is excellent, and he explains every concept in great depth. However, after going through previous years’ Prelims questions, I noticed that around 90% of the Polity questions seem much simpler than the level of detail covered in the lectures.

The notes are also quite bulky, and sometimes I feel like I’m spending a lot of time on topics that may not be directly useful for Prelims.
I understand that this is a GS Foundation course and not a dedicated Prelims batch, so perhaps the approach is more oriented towards building concepts for Mains as well.
But I’m confused why are we taught such depth when Prelims questions appear to be relatively straightforward?
For those who have cleared or seriously prepared for UPSC, do you think this approach is worth following, or is it better to keep Polity preparation more concise for Prelims and build depth later for Mains?
