Hey all. I discovered a lone star tick at the top of my pubic hair in the shower this morning. I shower daily so not sure how I missed him….he was tiny though. I was in TN all last week, mostly in Nashville but on the last day of my trip, I went to the county fair, about an hour outside of Nashville and I have to assume that’s where I got it. That means the tick has been on me at least 48 hours and he was engorged w blood.
Is there anything else I can do at this point? I took the one day doxy (I know they don’t spread Lyme but they can spread other diseases), and sent the tick for testing. Feeling extremely nervous……

I had what I thought was a uti but started a fever and so Dr thought kidney infection. I’ve been on cipro for 6 days now. I have a 10 day course. Fever has been gone for a while but there’s still some pressure and burning. It’s e fae. No kidney pain, but still having some urinary symptoms

51, f….2 weeks ago, after sex, I started feeling like I was getting a uti. Hoped it would go away w cranberry juice and water but the burning started to get really bad this weekend and I had a low grade fever. Went to urgent care, and they prescribed Macrobid, while waiting for the culture. It’s now 48 hours later and while much of the burning and urgency is gone, I can’t seem to shake the fever, which continues to get higher…so far, nothing higher than 100 or so. Dr was concerned about this being possible kidney infection so put me on Cipro. I’m not experiencing flank or back pain. When does fever get better w this? Also, there’s some soreness at the top of my ribcage in my back but can’t tell if that’s body aches or kidneys. Seems too high for kidneys. Help!

Hey all. I do Lift with Cee and really like it but am not sure how to do progressive overload when I don’t have tons and tons of weights . The adjustable set I bought was extremely bulky and awkward and so I returned it. Any suggestions welcome!

Any to avoid due to bad admin? I’m interested in this district but really looking to stay away from any crazy principals!
