So we were travelling back from Agadir to Birmingham yesterday. A lady was checking luggage, they held back my 17year old daughter and said her case was too big (Even though our whole family had the same case and we were told they were ok!). My husband and I tried to go back towards her to give her the boarding pass/ sort out the issue and the extremely rude woman immediately started to threaten us with calling the police. She wouldn’t even let us go to our daughter or speak and resolve the issue. She held my husband there for 40 mins threatening to call the police. While we waited outside the door on the tarmac. She wouldn’t let me speak or resolve the problem. Just continuously saying she was calling the police and was off boarding me and my husband off the flight. I told her my children are waiting outside in the heat for no reason. She was so rude and mean for no reason. Every other member of staff said there was no issue but she wouldn’t let it go.

At this point, the whole flight had boarded and was about to take off in 10mins.

I had enough at this point and had my card out trying to pay but she still kept making things difficult.

In the end while still telling us we were off the flight I said to her I’M going to call the police and I want your name or to see your ID badge. She refused to give us her name. In the last moment she just said take your bag and get lost basically. We just about managed to get onto the flight. Extremely distressed. Everyone on the flight agreed she was being out of order and sympathised with us. They were witness to it.

Even the Ryanair staff on board didn’t understand what she was doing. Bear in mind she was an Agadir airport staff member. Anything I can do about this..? I’ve added a video of the luggage too for context.

At the end of the day we would’ve paid if we had to. By why threaten us with police when we were just trying to speak and resolve the issue. Did she expect us to just leave our 17year old daughter on her own.
