Just ordered sr, planning out my schedule

Just ordered some sr. For those getting tabs are you doing sublingual or just taking like a pill. I’ve managed to taper down to 20-30 mg a day of 7oh but that also includes about 6g of plain leaf and some mit. I know it’s a pretty low dose but I have several life circumstances that doesn’t allow me to cold turkey . Also my 3rd quit and it seems each one gets harder.
Due to my low dose amount I’m planning on taking a pretty aggressive and low sr dose approach. Planning to start Monday , and last day of sr on a Friday that way I can have residual withdrawal over the weekend. But I know sr withdrawls can kick in days later so maybe I should start on Saturday and end on Wednesday so they kick in days later ? Anyway here is my dose idea feel free to give opinions

Also I ordered 20x 50 mg so I’ll probably be throwing a lot in the trash lol.

Day 1- morning 20mg 7, 12.5 mg sr
night 12.5 sr, 10mg 7oh
Day 2- 3g plain leaf morning , 12.5 sr
afternoon 3g plain ,
Night 3g plain 12.5 sr
Day 3 morning 3g plain , 12.5 sr
Afternoon 3g plain leaf
Night 3g plain , 12.5 sr
Day 4 12.5 sr both morning night ( since no plain might do a afternoon dose
Day 5 7.5 sr per dose
Then cold turkey

Quitting advice

Right now I’m at 40-60 mg of 7oh a day. Yeah I know it’s not the biggest dose, but I have a lot of work responsibilities and take care of my 4 month old while I work at home. I can’t be out of commission for days.

Anyway I don’t have access to a computer other than my work computer. Could someone advise me on a dosing schedule or maybe even plug 50-60 mg in the excel and see what the schedule says ?

I’m trying to find out how much sr I need. There is a reset site I can get 25x 50 mg tabs or 50 for just 30$ more. I don’t mind spending more but I’d prefer not to have more than needed lying around .

If anyone has quit around my dosage please let me know how your experience went.

Thanks in advance

Tapering with helpers

I’ve been tapering and it’s been going smooth for the most part, slow and painful . Was down to 85 mg a day.

I’m tired of how slow this is going. I started sprinkling in mit with gabapentin. I’m super paranoid to take gaba mixed with mit/7. So I don’t do any near bedtime.

Yesterday I only did 60Mg with zero discomfort or thinking about dosing.

So far today I’ve only done 10mg, 1ml mit and then gaba. My theory is if I can get down to 40, then 20 quicker and stabilize I can switch to plain leaf caps for a few days and then ride it out. We will see maybe this is a turrible idea lol

Taper speed bump

Man yesterday I was feeling good in my taper. Extending my doses and was going to hit 85mg again. Somehow in a split second I decided to do another 10mg at 1am ending at 95( 10 higher than the day before ). Atleast I managed to sleep in until 8am without redosing.
Today I’ll just be happy maintaining my 2 hr interval and hitting 85 mg. And then regroup tomorrow.

I’ve felt like shit all day, anxiety through the roof, struggling to make it 2 hours between doses, and freezing feet. I’m also extremely stressed about work, and hiding this from my wife.

I’m so tempted to just say f it and do subs but it seems insane to do subs when I’m only at 85-95 mg a day. I’m also super embarrassed to go to a pharmacy.

I know my recovery doesn’t have to be linear but man am I down on myself. I’m really realizing I need to look into a therapist and or doing na when this is all said and done.

It really sucks to go through this alone. If anyone else is tapering / trying to quit and wants to chat during your journey hit me up.

Telyrx question

I used the search button and didn't see this so forgive me.

I want to use telyrx to get clonidine. For those of you that have gone this route did you straight up say you need it for withdrawals or come up with a bs excuse like anxiety or something else.

If I'm going to use it during the quit and here and there during big taper days is 120 count .1 mg enough? Or sbouldbinjust do 120 count of .2 mg. I can cut those and it's like 10$ more. I guess I could just do .2 60 count and that would save me 50$. It would be like have 120 of .1mg

I don't really care about money though and would rather just have enough. Also I'm guessing they ship instead of dealing with pharmacies

Tapering going smooth

Feel super good. Man it is so much better to try to extend doses and slowly cut back. I went from last week dosing every hr reaching 130-170 mg a day ( wasn't counting ).

To yesterday dosing every 2ish hours and yesterday hit only 85 mg. Even better my son woke me up at 2ish am ( when I typically need to redose) and I just went to his bed and fell right back asleep! My goal the next two days is to get my dosing spaced out to 2.5 or 3 hours and maybe go down 5-10 mg if I feel comfortable, baby steps.

I'm super excited my 600 mg x 100 count gabapentin gets here Monday. I'm also going to order clonidine soon. I'm mainly posting for self motivation but feel free to give opinions on my dilemmas below

  1. once a week I'm going to try to do a major taper reduction. I'm going to use gaba during those two days to try to make it seamless. For example maybe I try to cut 10-20 mg or skip a dose. I will only use gaba those two days

  2. I'm unsure what a safe clonidine dose is throughout the day. Or how much I'm going to need during my quit and if I should incorporate this in my taper idea like in question 1. Shall I order 0.1 x 60 or 180. I can even order the 0.2 ( cut the tablet ) and do 60 or 180 count. I'm honestly leaning towards the 0.2 and getting the 180 count. If I have extra that's fine.

  3. I also have 240 0.6 red leaf caps, and 4x super k mit bottles. I'm debating if I should use those on my 1-2 escalated taper days. My wife doesn't know I'm using again and those are way easier to hide. So I might not use those and save those for the actual quit time. At what dose of my do you think I can quit, utilize the shots and clonidine / gaba and not make quitting obvious? I plan to use mit for a few days and then switch to plain leaf for a few days. It's super important my withdrawals aren't obvious. I have to take care of my 3 month old mon-friday so my withdrawal window is limited.

Tapering getting better

Sorry to post again. This gives me motivation. Yesterday or the day before I posted having a meltdown about work stress, taking care of my 3 month old and struggling to taper. I was considering SR or subs. Yesterday I ended at 105 mg (including a 3am wake up dose). Today it is looking like I might end at 85 woot woot. But will possibly have a night dose and that okay!

I think some or most of us decide we’ve had enough, try to taper too aggressively and send ourselves in overdrive. ( I understand all of us have different financial situations and life pressures, so for all of us that’s not possible to slow down).

I’m giving myself grace this time in order to make my 3rd quit final. First I’m trying to space my doses out from dosing every 1-2 hrs at most, usually 1). I’ve hit 2 hours every interval today with some 2.25 and 2.5 hours. Then my dosage should naturally cut back. To start I am not worried about the MG but at the same time never trying to increase. My goal is to atleast get to being comfortable with 3-4 hour gaps. 6 would be ideal but unsure how likely that is.

Then I ordered some gabapentin and will order clonidine soon. I will not use those the entire taper but maybe once a week when I try to cut down dosage or increase time between dosing.

Then when it is time to quit I have 250 .6 plain leaf caps and 4x mit super k bottles. I’m unsure if I’m going to quit at 10,15 or 20 mg. Whichever it is, I’ll stay at that dose for 3-7 days before quitting.

Most importantly I know paws and sticking with it are the worst. This time I’m deciding I’m 100% done. On previous quite during paws I’d tell myself , once you are x time out you can do it here and there. I’ve realized I may not have been before but I am now an addict. So once I quit I’m flushing every god damn thing.

Thanks for hearing me out. Earlier this week I went from a complete panic to having peace and am excited for the future.

Gabapentin for tapering ?

I’ve been trying to taper and fail due to crippling anxiety . Idk why this third quit attempt feels so much different .

Has anyone used gabapentin to aid in tapering ?

I also have 240 0.6 caps of plain leaf and 4x super k MIT but hoping to save those for quit day. I could always incorporate some plain leaf to start the taper and just get more.

I understand gaba is habit forming but tapering that should be a breeze compared to 7. I’m going to get 600 mg tablets so they are easy to break up

Edit: I’ve been waking up 4 hours since last dose not with physical withdrawal but in a straight up panic. Hoping it will help me sleep through this to start. Better sleep will surely help the rest of the day plus dose less

Screwed myself

This is my third time attempting to quit . God why did I come back again.
I’m trying to taper but next week I’m solely responsible for wfh in a high pressure job and taking care of my 3 month old going forward. I have been very anti subs and sr previously but with my current commitments there is no way for me to ct. at this point I think I have no choice but to use subs (I’m nervous to use an experimental drug and think maybe I should go with the devil I know). I know my usage isn’t high compared to most but I really can’t be in withdrawals with a baby. Not to mention my wife will leave me this time.

Maybe I can just taper to a lower amount but I’m having a hard time with that. Until I get stabilized I think I’ll just keep dosing around where I’m at so I can fulfill my obligations.

I’m probably doing about 105mg a day since cutting back and my anxiety is through the roof and waking up in the night stressed af. Not to mention I do 5-10mg every hour so I need to constant redose. Right now my goal is to at least cut back my dose frequency. I’m doing higher doses but trying to space at least 2 hours right now (which is so hard)

Recently my use has spiked and I get almost no relief. I bought a new brand (Uforia) and like a dumbass didn’t realize the bottle said full spectrum.

Turns out it potentially has a few mg of pseudo in it. Nothing on the product does it mention that. I saw a link around here the other day that lets you search for coa’s and that’s how I found out. It makes sense because my regular 7oh came in and it’s barely touching me. So right now I’m in the process of slowly switching to my regular brand.

Sorry for the long rant but I feel so alone and mad at myself. Not sure if I’m looking for advice on my plans or thoughts but thanks for reading this wall of text if you did.
