After applying hard for more than 500 jobs now. I have decided to work on myself and do some freelance stuff. One of my cousins was looking to open an infleuncer account for himself. So, I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to build my portfolio with him. So, 2 weeks ago we started his instagram page and now all our reels are crossing an average of 1k views with average likes of 50 per post and a monthly reach of 17k. I know this is not huge but an account with 138 followers and just a 2 week of consistent posting I beleive this is a good result. So, I have decided to move forward with this.

So, I have been here in Qatar for 3 months now I am living with my cousins here. I came to Qatar with an intention to get a job and start my career here but a week ago things took a turn. My cousins planned an umrah for 7 days from Qatar and they said me to join them. I was'nt expecting this like yes I was excited for my first Umrah but I was literally so shocked that How god had planned this...I am really happy today am back to Qatat after completing my first Umrah. I am back to my job search now.

I just wanted to say that everything will get back to you just keep your trust in Allah. Indeed, he is the best planner

Its been almost 3 months now I have been looking for a job in Qatar. I have tried apporaching to consultancies and HR's but havent find a way. Many people say that the hiring process is slow here. But 3 months is too much I think. I possess all the required skills that a company needs I am competent. I am just waiting for someone who could trust me and give me a chance to prove myself. I hope this message lands into the right recruiter feed....

So, I have been posting about my job journey here on reddit. I have received so many advices, criticism, and support from you all. Today, its been almost 3 months I am here. I tried all the ways I can from reaching out to recruiters to visiting the agencies for a direct vacancy. But, the frustration has been rising daily. I feel so irritated and frustrated. I dont know what to do and how do I survive. Just need your advice if I am missing out on something. And wanted to know how do you all survive this situation??

Its been 2 months I have been in Qatar. When I came within a week or 2 I had 3 interview calls now its been 2 months I have done 5 interviews. 1 with low package, 2 on hold and rejection from 2. I have started socializing and building connections. I am trying to approavh marketing agencies directly through their company websites and g maps. I am not demotivated but I still hope that something more bigger and better would come to mee soon.

I have faith in Allah that everything will fall im place.

This reddit post is just about being grateful few months back I had a fear if I could ever fly to a new country, will I get a call? But as time flies I have done everything I once had fear for allhamdulilah. And soon I will get what I want.

I just wanted to thank all of you who have been so supportive here..your words have really motivated me to keep going on..

I had my 5th interview today at a global holding (cant share the name). So, the role was for marketing executive I was confident that I would crack the interview because I was almost 95% aligned with their requirement. Everything went well the discussion, the interview but later on they said me that I was shortlisted for the second HR round and told me to wait.

There were several candidates with me so I could understand that the interview would take time. But, then a guy came who was a 100% fit for the role. They took his 1st round and then right after that the took his second round as well.

I was waiting there for past 3 hours now. He came after me gave both the interviews. I then reached out to the reception. I knew that they would definotely choose him because he was much better than me.

After reaching out to them, they said I should leave now and they will call me for the second round if I get selected. Like, what that means?? You made someone wait straight for 3 hours no updates no interview and suddenly you say to leave after getting the right candidate as they say...

I was a bit frustrated but I just came back home...

Has anyone ever faced such situations and how did you deal with it?

So, its been 2 weeks since I have landed in Qatar. I have started applying for marketing role after Eid Al Adha. And guess what I have received my first interview call the next day (I applied on saturday and got my first interview on Sunday) carrying forward I have completed 3 interviews in the past 4 days. But, still I am unsure about what should I do. I was here for 1 month and I only have 2 weeks left with me. Should I stay here and look out for more opportunities or should I get back to my country and get a job there (I am currently working for a company in remote basis).

What's your suggestions? Is there any chances of getting more calls? Keeping in mind about the current situation...
