Has anyone else had this issue? I'm thinking of attending for the optician program

Apprenticeship vs degree

Is it worth it to pursue the degree route? I recently applied for an apprenticeship and unfortunately didn't get the job. I'm interested in getting licensed and all other places nearby are only hiring licensed. In a financial bind and I'm just really stressed out and bummed right now. Didn't want to have to take out loans for education but it seems like that's my only option right now.

Edit: I'm in Florida

Food portions?

Hello I posted a couple days ago asking about adding water to the dry food. This is my first time treating kidney disease. His prescription food just arrived and I was looking at the daily feeding guide on the back.

It's the Hills kidney care dry food. Is half a cup really all he'd be allowed to eat for the whole day as a 10 pound cat? I feel like he'd devour me in my sleep if that's all he was allowed to eat. He's a good eater as he's in the early stages still. Or will this food be more filling for him and it won't be a problem?

For the first week he'll be getting a mix of this and his old food to transition

Adding water to dry food?

My 15 year old boy was just diagnosed with kidney disease today but it's looking like it was caught early and he's being put on a prescription diet. I was feeding him wet food before but the prescription hills science diet wet food will kill me financially.

If I got the dry food would adding water to it help with hydration?

I'm going to add that he does have a fountain that I see him use pretty regularly
