I have been doing the transcription project for a week now and I just get 5 tasks a day, which means my daily earnings average around $5, which is so low.

Hi everyone, yesterday I applied for the transcription jobs and underwent the tests. Today I received an email saying that my applicaiton has been accepted and they will hold a training meeting tomorrow.

After completing the meeting, how long does it take to start doing tasks and earning?

TL;DR: Made some mistakes in life and the consequences just keep piling up. At my wits' end.

​I’m 23, male, and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

​Normally, my degree takes 3.5 years. I’m just finishing up my second year, but because I’ve failed some classes in the past, I’m already looking at an extra 2.5 years to finish.

​Honestly, spending 4.5 years total at uni wasn’t a dealbreaker for me—I’d accepted it. But now, I’m facing a very real chance of losing my scholarship. If that happens, I’ll be forced to drop out and start over at a completely different university next September, because the tuition at my current school is insanely high. To make matters worse, applications for the September 2026 intake have already closed where I live, and I couldn't find any universities with a March 2027 intake.

And that’s not even factoring in the nightmare of transferring credits. I'll likely lose a ton of progress in the transition. If I have to start fresh at a new uni next September, three years will have already gone down the drain, and I’ll probably need another three years just to graduate.

​By the time I finally get my degree, I’ll be at least 29. To be completely honest, it’s utterly depressing.

​I made mistakes, and I am just so tired of paying for them. I could have chosen an easier school like my friend did and graduated on time. I was just uninformed when I made these decisions. At this point, I’m honestly willing to take any shortcut—legal or otherwise—just to graduate on time, because I actually know my field well. I feel like I'm wasting the best years of my life on this university bullshit.

Please don't give me the "none of this will matter when you're 35" speech. I'm begging you, don't.

​I just need realistic, serious advice on what to do next. I know I need to build actual study habits. It's entirely my fault that I'm on the verge of losing my scholarship because I haven't been studying at all—it's honestly a miracle I kept it for the first two years. I've been dealing with some mental health struggles (nothing clinical, but still heavy), which I could sort out if the university just gave me a second chance and let me keep my scholarship. But looking at my academic track record, I seriously doubt they’ll give me another shot.

Hey everyone

I have succefully passed interviews for J1 and J2, which are fully remote and have organized my hours such that I can work both of them simultaneously - J1 is 30 hours/week and J2 is 25-30 hours/week.

I am currently in the process of getting hired for J3. My final interview is next week and I will very likely get accepted to the job. The thing is, since I cannot do J3 because of J1 and J2, is it okay if I outsource it to my cousin and share the earnings with him? Or does this cross a legal line? If so, how? I am completely uninformed about this kind of things.

Any kind of advice is greatly appreciated.

It is crazy because my earnings across the platform has been low since I opened my account in April of 2025.

Today I woke up to an email by Prolific stating that there is an online test that will make me qualify for those studies if I pass.
