Hi,
I am looking to buy my first camera just for weekend hobby. I won’t be using it professionally just for hobby. I am looking to buy a brand new camera with a decent kit lens to get started. Budget : 65-75k with kit lens.
Here is the confusion.

Sony a6400
Pros :

1. Great lens selection
2. Weather sealed body
3. Metal body

Cons :

1. Older model
2. Inferior Autofocus
3. Inferior Sensor

Canon R50
Pros :

1. Newer model
2. Better Sensor
3. Better Autofocus

Cons :

1. Limited lens selection
2. Plastic body.

From what I’ve researched, the Sony seems stronger as a long term system because of lens availability, while the Canon feels more modern and beginner friendly out of the box. For someone mainly shooting for fun and wanting a camera that can grow with them over the next few years, which would you pick and why?

I am facing an issue where my jio router is in living room and signals doesn’t reach my work desk in my bedroom. The laptop shows no WiFi sometimes and even if it gets connected the speed is very slow. I am not looking for something fancy. I need something that gets my job done. Slight speed drop is ok for me and I will just connect my laptop to it so if WiFi name is different for the extender it’s fine.
