3 of my paper 1 essays got 13/16, so they were level 4. But my teacher thinks they all should have got 15 or 16.
But, I heard that remarks change only if there is disagreement on the level awarded. As it is already level 4, even if the reviewer thinks 13 was low, will the marks not change?
I am not attempting to challenge my mark, it’s only that this essay, I thought, was just as good as my other ones which scored much higher. I also don’t see any written feedback at the end on this essay. Thanks for all who give their feedback!
Do you guys think it is beneficial (in the sense of tradeoff of time vs professionalism) to use abbreviations like PMO for profit max output and SNP for supernormal profit if they are qualified. Obviously everyone is using AD, MC, MR, but what about ones above?
How long did it take you guys to learn content for paper 1.
Regrettably, I am very very behind on content (know about ~5%). However, my exam technique is pretty good, I’m predicted an A*, got 40/40 on NEA and avg high A-A* in exams when I am prepared with content (and I do not do practice essays/sources so that does not need to be factored into revision time)
My exam is in 11 days, but I have 3 exams in that time. I am going to learn 1/3 of the content this weekend, then write out the other 2/3 on monday after my first exam. Then on the next weekend, I will be preparing for a 3 exam week including history where I consolidate content. Throughout the week, I will probably be able to do ~1hr flashcards a day (due to other exams before).
How crazy is this? Do I definitely need more time?
