3rd year B.Pharm student — need advice for GPAT + NIPER JEE, I just started my 5th sem
Hey everyone, I’m a B.Pharmacy student who just started 3rd year (5th semester) and I want to start preparing for GPAT + NIPER JEE, but I’m confused about the timeline and how to study.
When are GPAT and NIPER JEE usually conducted?
Is starting preparation from 5th sem a good time?
Can I prepare for both together?
What subjects/resources should I focus on?
How many hours should I study daily alongside college?
Any tips from people who have cleared these exams?
Basically, if you were starting GPAT/NIPER preparation from 5th semester, how would you do it?

I was assaulted while delivering a Blinkit order, and now I’m scared to go back to work
I honestly don’t know how to write this, but I just want to share what happened.
I was delivering a Blinkit order when I came onto a small, narrow road where vehicles use the same road to come and go. A man was coming from the opposite direction, so I slowed down and took a left, passing him from the side. I didn’t hit him or his vehicle.
He seemed really angry about me passing him. He was with his wife, but I didn’t argue and just continued into the colony to deliver the order.
A little later, I noticed a white car coming behind me. I passed it slowly, without touching the car or causing any damage. If I had actually hit his car, I would’ve stopped and accepted responsibility.
Instead, I saw the same white car coming toward me at full speed.
I stopped and waited. The man got out and started confronting me aggressively. I got genuinely scared and kept apologizing, saying I didn’t know there was a problem and that I was sorry.
I already struggle with anxiety, depression and DPDR, so situations like this can affect me badly. My first reaction was just to apologize and try to calm things down.
But he slapped me twice before I even started recording.
Then, while I was recording, he slapped me again.
There were people around who saw what happened, and I have witnesses who can confirm what happened.
I’m not saying I’m perfect. If I had damaged his car or actually done something wrong, I would’ve accepted it. But I didn’t. I was just trying to deliver an order and do my job.
Since then, I genuinely don’t feel like going back to delivery work. I get shivers just thinking about accepting another order. I keep thinking, “What if something like this happens again?”
And this is where my life situation makes everything even harder.
I’m 20 and studying B Pharmacy. My father passed away when I was a kid, so I’ve always felt like I have a lot of responsibility on me.
My mom lost her job too. My grandmother had dementia and was bedridden, so my mom had to take care of her, including hospitals and other expenses. We’ve been through a really difficult time financially. We don’t have savings to fall back on, and we even lost our house.
Right now, I’m genuinely broke.
I was doing Blinkit because I needed to earn ₹10,000 for my college fees and admission. I wasn’t doing it for extra pocket money. I genuinely needed the money to continue my education and help my family.
I want to take care of my family. I want to finish my degree. I want to be able to stand on my own feet.
But after this incident, I don’t feel mentally capable of going back to delivery work right now.
I’m not looking for sympathy or free money. I just need an opportunity to work.
I’m fluent in English and comfortable speaking and communicating with people. I’m good with computers, typing and basic computer work, and I can do customer support, customer care, virtual assistance and similar online work. I’m also willing to learn.
If anyone knows about a legitimate work-from-home job or knows someone hiring for remote work, please let me know.
I’m really struggling right now, but I’m still trying my best to keep going. i really need a job or any kind of work

Need an online job so i can pay my college fees, Or they'll not let me do admission
Hey everyone, I'm Kartik, I'm 20 and I'm currently studying B Pharmacy. I'm supposed to start my 3rd year, but I'm in a really difficult situation right now and I don't know where else to ask.
I need to arrange ₹10,000 by August 22 to confirm my admission and pay the remaining college fees in installments. My total college fees are around ₹36,000 a year after scholarship. The college is allowing the remaining amount to be paid in installments, but I need ₹10,000 first to confirm my admission.
I'm currently doing Blinkit, but I live in a Tier-3 city and there isn't enough demand here to earn much. I'm trying my best to earn, but it's simply not enough to reach ₹10,000 in the time I have.
That's why I'm looking for any kind of online/remote work I can do from my computer.
I'm pretty good with computers and I learn things quickly. I'm comfortable using different software and websites, and honestly, if you give me something I've never done before, I'm willing to learn it. I don't expect anyone to just hand me easy work.
I can do things like:
- Virtual assistant work
- Customer support / chat support
- Data entry
- Typing
- Internet research
- Excel / Google Sheets
- Email handling
- Social media work
- Content writing
- Transcription
- Basic video editing
- AI-related tasks
- Website/app testing
- Online research
- Admin work
- Anything else that can be done remotely
I'm fluent in English and I can also speak Hindi and Marathi.
I can work through whatever tools you use, and I'm comfortable learning new software or workflows. If there's something you need done and you can explain it to me, I'll learn it and I'll do it.
A little about why I'm in this situation:
I don't have a dad. My mom had to leave her job to take care of my grandmother because she had dementia and was bedridden. Most of our money went into her treatment, hospital bills and taking care of her.
My grandmother passed away a few months ago. After all of that, we were basically left with nothing.
We also lost our house because of a family inheritance/will situation. My sister is currently in her final year of law school and is doing internships, which helps us with groceries and other basic things.
I'm not posting this because I want sympathy or asking people to send me money.
I just need someone to give me a chance to work.
I need to make ₹10,000 by August 22 so I can confirm my B Pharmacy admission. Once that's done, I'll be able to pay the rest of my fees in installments.
I can provide proof of my college fees and situation if someone genuinely needs it. I obviously won't post personal documents publicly, but I can show appropriate proof privately.
If anyone here knows of any legitimate online job, freelance work, VA work, customer support job, paid task, or literally anything I can do remotely, please DM me or comment.
I don't care if it's boring, repetitive or difficult.
