Need help making a chipmunk habitat

I had to do a lot of yard work on my backyard recently as I had left it alone for way too long due to being overwhelmed in other parts of life. During one of my cleanups I realized way too late I had likely destroyed a chipmunk’s home when three chipmunks and I jumpscared the shit out of each other. If I had known it was their home I would’ve left it alone for as long as I could, but it’s way too late for that now.

I feel so bad I was wondering if there was a way to make a habitat for them in my yard so they have another home if they need it. Somewhat manmade is a little preferred so I don’t have to continue to do yard work on their home and leave it as undisturbed as possible.

Need to get in contact with any locals in the area to get an update on these dogs

For anyone who’s aware, these guys were on the parkway a while back where one was shot in the face, but survived, and have recently found info that said at least one had returned.

I have reached out to an organization who is very good at what they do, which is catching and finding proper rehabilitation for all kinds of dogs, and they really want to help.

However, in order to get the best picture and therefore increase their chances of catching these dogs, they’d like to get in contact with a local who knows more about the situation and who have been able to see the dogs’ behavior personally. So if you know the dogs or know of anyone who does, please contact me on here and I’ll forward the info.

Rescued a baby possum from an over eager dog. Need help

Just as stated. Over eager dog decided this poor guy was a toy. Managed to rescue him but he has a puncture in his side and there’s blood. Didn’t handle him more than necessary to save him and put him in a shoe box, calling all wildlife rehabs/rescues in my area but currently have no luck even getting to talk to a real person. Just want to know if there’s anything I can do to increase his chances of living in the meantime.
