The Ultimate Album, pt. 1

Over the past 3 months I've been making my way through the Gorillaz discography (skipping alternate side tracks and Laika, because I don't like how they sound) and I'm wanting to create an ultimate gorillaz Playlist. I plan on making two:

  1. Every gorillaz song in its album position is ranked against each other, and a winner is selected (excluding interludes). This will create a 19 song long album from, hopefully, all playlists.

  2. To counter the flaw of 1 (Gorillaz placing their more "popular" songs [ex: Tomorrow Comes Today, and Rhinestone Eyes] in the same position on albums) ill create a much larger Playlist of all of the gorillaz songs that I enjoy. I'll be a little critical to avoid creating a Playlist of every song ever made.

Okra and Cucumber problems

Hello, at the beginning of the dry and hot season in my sub-sahara african region I interplanted okra and cucumber.

The cucumber is showing interveinal chlorosis which developed into leaf-edge necrosis. The apex of the vining(?, forgive me i do not know cucumber terminology) part of the cucumber has bunched up. Recent fruit, which i suspect are really just ovaries, have turned yellow, shriveled, and died.

The okra has been fighting aphids since young growth. I used a spray of soap, water, and cinnamon to physically remove the aphids and hopefully discourage ant activity. When it came time to fruit, the young okra fruit have small brown lesions on them. Upon picking at the lesions with my fingernail, they pop off similar to a scab on an old wound.

My region is very hot -- 22-42C nights and days -- with little shade. Do you have any tips on how to deal with the cucumber and okra issues? Organic IPM would be preferred as this garden is meant for teaching/extension purposes.

Araman (and Pasitar) have some siamilar themes with classic Tolkein fantasy, mixed with folktales and Brennan's own worldbuilding. Ive been curious about where some of these classic elements may be, if they exist at all, in Araman. This list is mainly to do with fantasy races/species.

Humans are the star of the show, being most of the cast and the major (current) antagonists of the Sundered Houses.

Orcs are the next most important with the setting of Dol-Makjar, notably growing past their simple-minded rage-fueled classical selves.

Elves have been touched on very briefly thanks to Vaelus, but it seems these ethereal mainstays are few and very far between.

Halflings, gnomes, and general small-folk have been given a good deal of attention in Brennan's NPCs, and with Bolaire's lore.

Dwarves have, unfortunately, been barely touched on. Murray's family has power as gem miners, a classical career for dwarves, and I believe we meet one or two dwarf npcs. Im hoping we get to see a proper dwarf settlement somewhere!

Beastfolk have been given some attention through Teor and various NPCs.

Goblins and goblinoids have been unfortunately absent from Araman sofar! I for sure expect them to exist in a fantasy setting, so I wonder where they're hiding.

Birdfolk, both kenkus and aarakocra, have been out of sight this campaign. Maybe Brennan is keeping all of his birds strictly animals.

Lizardfolk, dragonborn, and kobolds all have not yet made an appearance, which is quite surprising.

Dragons themselves have been hinted at, but haven't been part of any major discussion or had an appearance.

Eldritch entities like Beholders haven't showed up. The closest we have gotten was the fey mold creature underneath Dol-Makjar.

Giants have been hinted at as having ruled(?) in Pasitar prior to the Shapers? We still haven't seen one (although a hand is apparently in the Archaenod).

Finally, id love to see something resembling the Underdark in Pasitar. It may not be exact, but weaving and winding cave systems filled with creepy things that move in the dark would be perfect.

Anything I missed or got wrong? Are there any fantasy staples youd like to see represented in Araman?
