More of the tracks on it are live, but U2 intended it to be a scrapbook of their Joshua Tree tour. Do you view it as a live album or studio album more? It opens with live stuff, but it has more studio tracks overall. If it were a studio album it would be their only one with covers in it. The film may suggest it being more of a live album. What do you all think?

I'm mixed on what I've heard so far. I'll need to hear the full thing at good quality first. But regardless of how the album turns out, I'm glad that I'll finally be able to see U2 live. Even if it is atrocious, I'll still be glad that they'll be hitting the road again soon.

I remember hearing people say Eno was, but I'm not sure if that was actually happening or just what people wanted to happen. Anyone know? Jacknife Lee produced the EPs. Did he do it because he's also doing the album? Or did he do it because someone else was producing the album?

According to the form that got sent out, U2 are filming something right now from 2pm-8pm in Mexico City. I assume that it's for a music video for the yet-to-be-announced album, but that is just speculation. Were any of you able to go?

Yesterday there were a lot of posts about Bono (for his birthday) and they had a lot of comments by people who hated him. Some of it was the iTunes stuff, but loads were just talking about how much they dislike him. Am I missing something or are people just being mad for no reason?

I'm interested in picking up a live CD from their web store. I'm wondering if any of you have a favorite and what the best one is.

They've played over 2,000 concerts and only 15 have ever been fully released. Zoo TV Live in Dublin didn't have the full concert for some reason, why not release the whole show? Metallica has almost every concert of the last 15 years available on CD on their website, but U2 barely has any on their YouTube page. Their box sets only give us the same ones again. I appreciate that some live tracks are given to the fan club sometimes, but why don't they release more. Us fans would eat that stuff up, why not release more?
