Long story short the animorphs win the war but in process they are all Fatally wounded

And the only way to save them is to change them to different animorphs permanently

Jake is Trapped as a tiger (his actual battle morph)

But the others are different

Cassie is trapped as a zebra

Marco is trapped as a rhinoceros

Rachel (who survived in this universe) is trapped as a bald eagle

Tobias (who morphed human form before he is injured) is trapped as a cobra

Ax gulit ridden leaves earth

David would be revealed to be alive and in a attempt to regain the power to morph accidentally traps himself as a wolf

The animorphs and David are still the same people but as David spends more time with them especially Tobias

He ultimately begins to change for the better

Jake and cassie restart their relationship

Despite Jake being a predator and cassie being prey

They stay unbelievably close with each other they still have their personalities and minds

The animal brain will never take over

And they even begin to train a new team that's just like them

And we ax now the king of the andalite homeworld holding a picture of the team
