Lawn Mowing service recommendations?

I live on the east side of Spartanburg. Looking for a lawn mowing company who covers this area who is reasonably priced. Does anybody have any recommendations?

It's .21 acre with the back yard fenced in. Have a double door gate to access back yard.

Thank you in advance!

Pizza shop grilled subs?

Does anyone here know of a pizza place here that does the oven grilled subs? I've heard them called grinders in other places.

Looking for one of those nearly-burnt brown cheesy hot subs and haven't seen a place here that has them

And no, I don't want a toasted sub from subway or Jersey Mike's, those are different.

Thanks!

Weightlifting impact bs?

Hey everyone, first time posting.

Got diagnosed about 6 months ago and am managing only with metformin 750 extended release and lifestyle changes.

I've noticed that cardio exercise is a mixed bag with blood sugar, but has anybody noticed a stark improvement with weightlifting? Not sure if it's the muscle mass/metabolism thing, or just a heavy workout that doesn't get your heart rate too high and trigger a glucose dump, but it's been treating me really well. My fasting bs is averaging about 10 points lower since I started my routine a week ago

I know that's not a lot of time, it just got me thinking, so now I'm here asking.

Jazz bass pickup experiment

Hey, so I have an old MIM Jazz bass I've been sitting on for years. I ended up with something better and thought I'd do a little hot-rodding and have some fun modding it a little (or a lot).

anyone have any opinions on a pickup set that would be out of the norm or unique to put in this? I was thinking of a set of hotrails, but I've found some fun alternative pickups out in the market. Thought I'd throw the thought experiment out here. You all probably have heard more basses and styles than I have.

How to GM this game? Help!

I'm legitimately asking for help. Please don't hit me with a "well, you get friends together and do it." Type of response. I've run several other RPGs and Cyberpunk Red has been a real head scratcher compared to them.

So I'm coming from Call of Cthulhu, DnD and Pathfinder 2. I got through the core rulebook and I'm not worried about how to run the game... I'm more stuck on a first adventure to try.

I know there's a few scream sheets and some background in the core rulebook that's supposed to get you started, but compared to the one-shots I'm used to, I'm entirely underwhelmed.

How are you supposed to learn how to play the game and get an introduction off of a 1 page scream sheet? No maps, no "you may want to use this mechanic here in the adventure" advice, no details on how the adventure should progress?

I know some games are lower prep. I've run some blades in the dark, but the mechanics for Cyberpunk Red need maps and structure for combat and other game mechanics... Am I just supposed to adlib everything on the fly?

I really really want to like this game and run it for my group, but this situation has me stuck to a point I'm ready to throw in the towel.

Would genuinely appreciate some advice here. Should I look at another book, a better built adventure? Any let's play streamers I could watch? I'm the forever GM for my group in a small Southern city, so it's hard to go find someone else who can let me be a player.

I know the whole 5 string and 6 string vs 4 string thing has been beaten to death here. I did look for this question first and couldn't find it.

I've been fooling around on 4 string bass and guitar for a bit. I like to window shop and find deals and I eventually see myself moving to a 5 string if my bass playing goes according to plan.

What I've seen in my 5 string window shopping is that some of the models I like will end up having 6 string models that are open box or blemished and end up being less than the 5 string by a margin. Really minor cosmetic stuff.

I'm not opposed to a 6 string, but don't have the "gosh I need that high c" anxiety. What do you all think of just going for the less expensive 6 string? Any trade -offs where you'd still stay 5 string, or just "get it and if you don't like the high c string, then just don't play it"?

For reference, I've seen some ibanez premium basses that fall into this category. I'm not in a hurry, plenty of mileage left on my 4 string. This is more theoretical.

Thanks!

Does anyone here know a good luthier in Spartanburg (preferred) or Greenville (or anywhere in-between)

Have a bass guitar that needs a setup and would like some fret buzz looked at.

Thank you!
