Habit in Greer closed
It appears Habit has exited the area. The Greer location closed two weeks ago. (The Spartanburg location closed also.)

I cannot for the life find fresh masa (not masa harina) or fresh flour tortillas. I also cant find non-hydrogenated lard but I’d be happy with the first two. I shop at la unica mostly but sometimes los arcos and neither carry them. anyone know where i can get good fresh tortillas flour and corn? Anywhere from Landrum to Townvile. I don’t mind traveling a bit.
Did anyone get any rain last night? Sometimes it’ll rain in TR but not downtown, or in Greer but not Taylors, so just wondering if any rain fell at all. The NWS is baiting me with these forecasts, I swear.
Can I park here?
Looking for somewhere to grab food after 2AM on a Friday or Saturday that's not Waffle House. Hit me with your best suggestions.
Do smoke shops in Greenville sell THCA flower and/or Delta 9 gummies? Will be there soon from out of state and wondering if I should stock up.
They are parked everywhere along the Haywood rd exit (these are just a few in the photo) and are just standing in groups around their cars and walking. I can’t make sense of why.
There are also news cameras pointed towards Haywood plaza near where they are.
Hey ya'll! Just spotted this guy in my apartment as soon as I opened the door. I did Google and it came up with Mygalomorph species, most likely trap door spider but..?
Is there a secondary, developing place to go out for dinner/drinks where several spots are all walkable?
Mortgage rates are terrible right now - shopping for lenders and all the rates are just awful compared to what we were paying. Anyone have suggestions for somewhere to look that may offer somewhat more of a reasonable rate?

Looking for suggestions on where to watch the World Cup in the upstate!
Big and busy, small and quiet, any place with a welcoming atmosphere! And also any authentic Latin American joint you know of!
i apologize for this slight crashout over a chipotle order, and yes i’ve learned my lesson to just stop going and giving them my money, but paying for something and receiving it like this is insane to me.
does anyone else deal with this bullshit when ordering tacos for takeout from the chipotle on pelham rd (or any chipotle in greenville for that matter). ts pisses me off so bad.
mind you, i actually ordered hard shell tacos and got soft corn tortillas, missing toppings, stale chips. regardless, where tf is the bowl and the lid to package it??? have they really gone that cheap or does management just not care?
i try not to complain or get upset when one or two things go wrong here or there when ordering out, but when it’s my entire order every single time i go (mind you i go maybe 4 times a year), it’s infuriating. especially being a chain when their customer support or any means to speak with someone who can actually help the issue is so hard to reach or do something about it. just curious if anyone else has the same experience.
For those who have wondered about this building, there is a great update in the Greenville Journal about the plans for it:
I know this has been posted, but none of the posts had what I’m looking for specifically. Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced auto mechanic for Toyotas? It’s time for me to have my timing belt done and I don’t want to pay $2k+ because thats over the national average. It would also be very much appreciated if someone could recommend a shop that can properly road-force balance tires. Discount Tire can never get it right. Thank you in advance!!
You likely know the story: a massive accident that killed five people including a Greenville City Police officer, seriously injured her wife (who I believe is still in critical condition but said to be "improving",) and the two parents of the injured wife, who is also a sergeant for the Greenville City PD. Besides the obvious unbelievable sadness of this story, the couple has two young children.
I really wanted to donate to the Go Fund Me account to help, but I'm sorry. If I wanted to donate $100, I was going to have to pay $16 in fees. That's a profit for Go Fund Me that I'm just not willing to do. If you think about it, they wanted to raise $70,000 for the sergeant's recovery. That means GFM would be making $11,000 from those transactions! IMHO that's $11,000 that could have gone to help this family.
After doing some digging, I found out that the Greenville (City) Police Foundation has also set up a fund for Sgt Muñoz. So that's where my $100 went. I only paid $3 more to pay for the credit card processing fees that the GPF has to pay. I would highly recommend if you have it in your heart to help, even just a few bucks, you go this route. Thank you.

I have somewhere to be at 3:00 in downtown Greenville. Does anyone know of a happy hour that starts before 4:00 in downtown Greenville?
