SummaryAmerican Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Accord Hybrid, 2025-2026 CR-V FCEV and 2023-2026 CR-V Hybrid vehicles. If the flat tire repair kit is operated with the nozzle improperly connected to the tire valve, pressure may build within the sealant bottle. If the relief valve does not release pressure as designed, excessive pressure may accumulate, potentially causing the bottle cap to detach.

Safety RiskIf the bottle cap detaches, the risk of injury is increased.

RemedyParts are available in limited supply. Registered owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer. The dealer will replace the tire repair kit nozzle or sealant bottle. Owners who have paid to have these repairs completed at their own expense may be eligible for reimbursement. in accord with the recall reimbursement plan on file with NHTSA. For additional questions, owners may contact American Honda's Customer Support & Campaign Center at 1-888-234-2138.

Even my 2023 Nissan Rogue gave me the tire pressure in all the tires instead of having to get out the gauge and check each individual tire. Thank goodness I purchased a Modern Spare. How many tire places were open on Sunday Mother's Day ZERO.

I see some conflicting information from the Greenville County Auditor's page. It seems to indicate that the beneficiary of the trust must meet the age requirements and personal residence requirement.
