I’m having my 22nd birthday celebration tonight, I’m at DT’s Tavern right now. If anyone wants to just come and have a good time with me and my boyfriend and 2 friends who were able to make it, feel free to come. I know it’s probably a long shot because it’s raining like crazy, but I figured I’d put it out there. The vibes here are a bit dull right now. Might go bar hopping though.

So I just woke up from a really strange nightmare with the same general theme as past nightmares, just in a different setting, and I’m very curious to know what y’all think of what this all means.

For context, the recurring nightmares I’ve had pertaining to this particular nightmare I just woke up from - a very malicious spirit/demon residing in my closet who chokes me in my sleep, wakes me from my sleep and scares me to the point where my 21 y/o ass asks my mom if I can sleep with her. This nightmare has been going on since I was 14, and I have it again at least twice a year, not very often but enough to where I was convinced it was real for a while.

Anyway, on to the nightmare I just woke up from…

I was at work, but the building was much different. I work at an animal hospital IRL. The building was bigger, we had more exam rooms, more storage space and more kennels to keep animals in, and the front half of our building was part of my boyfriend’s grandfather’s home, really really weird layout.

Three of my coworkers and I were checking on the animals in the back and restocking things about an hour before we close, when suddenly I feel the presence of that malicious spirit again, the first time it’s tormented me outside of my home. I told my coworkers that something was VERY wrong, and my eyelids started getting really heavy, and I couldn’t hold myself up anymore. I started slowly getting down to the floor and I just couldn’t stop myself from falling asleep. Before I fell asleep, I told my coworkers to move me to an exam room and keep watch over me. One coworker let our hospital manager know that I should probably go home early due to being so immensely tired that I fell asleep on the spot, and my hospital manager agreed, telling them to let my boyfriend’s grandfather know that I was here in case they had to leave before I woke up.

When I woke up, the hospital was closed but my boyfriend’s grandfather (we’ll call him Lenny) was there keeping an eye on me. I asked him where the spirit was, and he looked at me like I was insane. I explained it to him, I explained that this malicious spirit was following me and forced me into a deep sleep when I was working. He didn’t believe me until one animal from the back broke free from its kennel and came to the exam room door, which was closed, to try and attack me. It was a small Jack Russel dog, his eyes were bloodshot and he ripped his IV catheter out of his arm and was tracking blood everywhere. He was very aggressive, trying to get in the room to attack. Lenny was surprised but still didn’t believe me… until we looked outside of the exam room window and saw a very large zombie-looking dog. He resembled an Irish wolfhound (which if you don’t know, they’re HUGE dogs), his skull was caved in and his eyes were bulging from his eye sockets and they were completely white, and he had chunks of his flesh missing so deep that I could see his bones.

This dog bit another dog outside the window, and the dog’s eyes immediately turned bloodshot and it started foaming at the mouth trying to break through the window, while the bigger Irish wolfhound dog stood and stared into the window. Lenny finally believed me, and we had to kick the Jack Russel outside the door in order to get to a safer spot. I looked at Lenny and said, “that big dog was the spirit I was telling you about. He’s out to get me and he’s possessing other animals because he can’t possess people. He wants to kill me and I don’t know why. He’s followed me for years, this is the first time he’s ever left my home. I don’t know why he wants me dead, but we have to get out of here now.” Lenny agreed, we somehow dodged these almost rabid possessed animals to get to Lenny’s car and we drove off. He looked at me about to tell me something, but before he could, I woke up.

What could any of this mean?? The large zombie dog, the recurring theme of this malicious spirit trying to harm me, my workplace changing so drastically… are there any ideas?

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas of what this could mean. I’m honestly at a loss for words.
