Im a vaporwave dj and every show I do I struggle with gain staging because of loud club subs with lots of sub bass. Many songs I use dont have much bass so its difficult to balance them with dance songs with bass. I tried using luf meters at different frequencies, monitoring with atm50, hd 560s, and turning up my own subs, but it doesnt work well. Are there headphones that have a similair clear and powerful sub bass or is there a certain technique?

I was recording a tape earlier. When I came back a few hours later the tape counter panel was off like it had been disconnected, and the deck no longer gets line in. I know line in is getting audio because I plugged the rca into a female rca to aux adapter and it played audio out of my headphones, and I had been recording earlier in the day with the same config. The deck levels don't move, but it will erase over recordings, so its just not moving the audio from the line in to the main board. I opened it and couldn't see anything obvious. Any advice how to diagnose the issue?

There are many songs that have seemingly disappeared from the internet in HQ format (or perhaps were never released outside of soundcloud) and I would like to find the original higher quality versions if anyone still has them. Here are some well known tracks I'm looking for
