Woke up with a throbbing headache. Saw that there wasn’t much left of last night’s wine bottle. Watched the World Cup final even though my head was pounding. Now I’m sitting in bed eating Ben & Jerry’s. No drinking tonight. First dry day in weeks.
This has to stop.
Yesterday was 2 1/2 glasses of wine. Today I only had two, and I didn’t have the struggle too much to put the empty glass in the dishwasher. Sharing here because you all would understand. Onwards to Day Three.

This princess was my gateway into orchids. I bought her a year ago. She seems to have settled into her new home.
