If Kpop Demons Hunters ended the same way Frozen 2 did (Spoilers)
Frozen 2‘s ending forces Anna and Elsa (the female leads) apart so that Anna and Kristoff (her male love interest) get to live together and Kristoff can remain Anna’s main priority instead of her sister. The sequel also forces us to believe Elsa would give up everything including her family, job, and people to become a glorified hermit in the wilderness.
Meanwhile Kpop Demon Hunters (SPOILERS!!) ends with the male love interest (Jinu) dying so the focus can remain on the all-girl group. Mira, Zoey, and Rumi are shown together in the end, having worked together and resolved the conflict between them. No forced separation BS.
Frozen was supposed be about the sisters and their bond so Its no wonder why the Frozen franchise fell off hard after Frozen 2. And, say what you will about KDH, but at least it understood its core theme.
