Rebecca's Upbraiding of Roy in "Being Alive"

was absolutely the funniest moment of the season (for me). The way she immediately yelled, "Go fuck yourself!" to him when he said he was taking the Chelsea job just made me bark-laugh.

That whole scene was so funny. "...just stringing us along." You don't believe that." "Oh, the FUCK I don't." "Is there booze in that?' "No, bellend! That is why I said, 'I needed(uh) a drink!'"

Second funniest was Lizzie telling Boots, "I'm gonna kick that ball today like it's his fucking dick."

Also? Hannah Waddingham is, of course, always spectacularly gorgeous, but that fuchsia blouse? That is her color. Good lord. And with those arms and shoulders? My queen.

All in all, I enjoyed the season because I didn't really need much more from it than to revisit characters that I enjoyed and missed seeing. I wasn't expecting Gordon Ramsay's Beef Wellington; I was expecting a sausage roll from a petrol station and I'm happy with that.

Can I Add My Friend to a Hotel Room That I Used My CC Points to Book as Part of a Package Deal?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this!

I am going to a wedding and my partner can't come with me so I asked my best friend if she wanted to go. (We don't live in the same state.) I would be using my CC cash-back points on a package deal that includes my flight and a hotel room. She would be flying in the same day and we would meet up at the airport and go to the hotel together.

If I choose a twin-bed room, can I add her as another person in the room when we get to the hotel? And would that significantly raise the price of the room?

I can't add her in my travel plans because the only option I have is to say at the beginning it's two people traveling and she is not flying with me.

I am not trying to be shady or cheap. We are happy to pay the difference. I just want to know if that would mess something up somehow or look sketchy.

Thank you. I appreciate your time.

What Is Adding Spice/Heat to the Dish If It's Not Peppers?

Hello, I hope someone might be able to tell me what a restaurant is adding to a dish to make it almost unbearably spicy if it's not peppers.

I have twice visited a local Chinese place and of the four dishes I ordered all four were so spicy as to be almost unpalatable. But here's the thing, there were no visible peppers in the dishes. For instance, I ordered Mapo Tofu, and yes, it's supposed to be spicy, and when I looked up recipes all of them included chili pepper sof some sort, but there were none in my order. Not one. But it was so hot.

Another time I ordered Singapore Noodles. Again, the recipes call for peppers, but nope. Uhn uhn. But tragically hot. Come to think of it, even the curry flavor wasn't there.

So basically, the flavor profile for any of their "spicy" dishes is just hot. No flavor. No numbing spices. Are they waving it through pepper spray? Why? What's going on here? Thank you!

Searching for a Recipe That a Friend Made for Me Years Ago

(I added the Tex-Mex flair because we were in Texas when he made it for me and he's Texas-born, but his mom and dad were born in Mexico, if that helps.)

I have been searching for a loooong time for this recipe and I see similar recipes online, but none that quite fit my memory.

So, back story: I was feeling really crummy one day, like flu-ish, and my friend came over, bringing his comal with him, and made the thing I am about to describe.

First: Things that I am 100% positive about.

  1. Cream of mushroom soup
  2. Corn tortillas
  3. Canned green chilis
  4. Cheese (My memory is that it was white cheese because other than the chilis, it was a fairly beige dish.)

Second: The way it was made, and this stuff I am not 100% on.

  1. Layered. It was a stack and I could cut it like a pizza. But it wasn't very tall. A half inch, maybe? And was pulled right off of the comal onto a plate in one solid piece.
  2. He chopped up the green chilis using the lid of the can. Seems like it was while the chilis were on the comal, but like I said, not 100% sure.
  3. If there was any kind of meat, I don't remember. Maybe chicken but it feels more like it was a vegetarian dish.
  4. If it went into the oven for browning, I don't remember that at all.
  5. If the soup was diluted with anything or thinned out, I don't have a memory of that.

Third: This is one of the best things I have ever had.

  1. Maybe it was because I felt so shitty that day and someone made food for me.
  2. Maybe because it actually is just that good.
  3. Maybe, and probably, both.

If this rings any bells with anyone and/or anyone has a recipe, I would be so grateful if you would share with me because it was soooo gooooooood.

P.S. I would ask my friend but that was over 20 years ago and we lost touch long ago. Thank you for your time.
