I did not expect her to be this conceited

This line surprised me as I got the vibe that she wouldn’t be the type to give much thought towards her looks, especially after she was so bluntly open about her relative lack of skincare in the last episode.
But hey, a good warrior must have pride, which therefore includes pride in their appearance!
