Driver took photo of delivery and stole food.
The other night I ordered some late night food.
Tipped very well as I usually do.
The driver picked up my order and delivered it to my door. I got the notification immediately. Opened my door and found nothing. I could hear him in the stairs still so I quickly descended the stairs to see him exiting my building with the food bag in hand and getting into his car.
I immediately msgd him and asked him why he took my food and told him I saw him with the bag outside.
He denied it. Obviously.
I contacted chat and they refused to refund anything. I escalated it through 2 of their specialist teams and was told I was a liar?
I have his license plate and name and could get footage from the cameras if needed. Should I report this to the police since DoorDash is seemingly doing nothing.
