Hi! My cat's birthday is tomorrow, and I got her tons of gifts! I hope she likes them, but I can't help but feel like she deserves more.
Tomorrow is my day off. My whole entire day will be spent with her. But aside from gift giving and birthday cake, how else can I make sure she has the best day ever?
For context, my cat Tuxie (10f) and I (23m) moved out of an abusive situation for both of us a year ago. Ever since, I've wanted to give her the best life ever!
She has 2 cat trees, 3 scratching posts, a puzzle box, a decent schedule for wet food, treats and catnip, an automatic catbox (unplugged unless cleaning!), and free range to my entire apartment (albeit small) that being my desk, counters, bathroom, cabinets, and closet.
Every time I try to do something special for her, though, a nagging voice in my head says "it's the bare minimum" and suddenly I have to do more. But the more I do, the higher the minimum becomes. I want to give her everything, but that's not enough. I love her dearly, she's the best part of my life, I don't know if anyone can understand how much she means to me. Everyone calls her spoiled but I still can't help but think, it's the bare minimum.
How do I make her birthday special, without feeling like it's the bare minimum?
Conclusion: have a sibling photo sesh and put the photos in an album, also customize a board game we can play together, also make 8-bit coasters of the games he loves, also make a memory box for him. :D thank you for the lovely ideas!
Hi! So, long story short, me (23M) and my brother (25, going on 26) have a complicated history but have recently started to be able to finally have a life with each other in it. One thing about my brother is that he HATES gifts. He hates how they feel like that whenever he's given something, it's liable to be taken away or dangled over his head (yay, parental trauma!). I get it because I went through it, too.
My brother has clarified quality time together is the best gift he can receive, but me, who's love language is gift giving (ironic), really really wants to give him a gift. I asked him, and we figured out that a hand made, personalized gift is something he would enjoy before a lengthy amount of quality time together.
So now I need ideas! My brother loves video games (Halo, The Last of Us, all things Star Wars - I haven't heard of a game he doesn't like, actually), sharp objects (knives, swords, etc), John Wick, physical activities, being badass, and giving bone crushing hugs.
I haven't had my brother back in my life for long, about a year now but only since after his last birthday. I want to make this birthday present count, to show how much I love him and that I'm happy he's in my life.
My first idea was to draw something - him in Master Chief's suit, a shot of him smiling (he doesn't do it often), etc but then I remembered... I can't draw! And I don't want to spend too much money on this (another trauma thing for us), so I can't pay anyone to draw.
Something I am good at is writing, but he's dyslexic and can't focus well (ADHD :c)
So now I'm not sure what to do! Any ideas? His birthday is at the beginning of august, but I don't think he'd mind if it was late (only I would :c)

My friend is homeless and he's living in his truck. I wish I could give him a home but I can't. What can I do to help him? I'm getting him a better air conditioning (we're in a heat wave!) and a small portable cooker with cooking utensils. What else might I be able to give him?

So, I went to a race track the other day with my friend. It was honestly one of the coolest things ever, and I suddenly remembered how much interest I had in racing movies growing up, in how a car works (but never got to learn), and how I never really chased after that interest due to an abusive household.
I wanted to get more into racing, learning how the cars function, how to race, the rules and stories and basics, and I have a vague idea where to start but no solid idea how. My possible end goal is to maybe make it on a team. I'm 23M
What I want to do first is to learn how cars work. I currently don't have a car of my own, the ability to get one, or to pay for a proper education. I live in WY. What is the best way to start learning about cars (everyday road cars and/or racing cars), preferably without spending a ton of money?

Just finished the main game, looking into playing durin's folk (just bought it a little bit before i finished) want to play on my old save but I don't know how to add Durin's Folk to it.
Looked it up and people are talking about how to add it to a dedicated server in a folder for dedicated servers, but i dont have that folder?
To note, i got the main game for free on epic, transferred the files to steam when i bought durin's folk. Everything loads fine but I want to add Durin's Folk to my old save. People say it's possible, but I'm not understanding how. Please explain it to me in the simplest terms possible, thank you!

I've gotten the one from Westgate (1), Orctown (2), Lower Deeps (3), and Desolation (5). Except I have the fourth from Upper City (4), and the quest I have is for the Lower Deeps (3) which I checked and is empty. I don't remember fetching one from the Desolation as I've just gotten there, but I have terrible memory so I might have. What do I do?

Their name is unfamiliar, though their birthday is, but in the way it might just be my brain tricking myself.

I'm the only person they've added as a friend. They created their account on their birthday 2003 (the year I was born) August 26th. Unsure if that's regular for when FB accounts are created to just say their DOB but yeah.
I don't know any of the people they follow but 2/3 of them are friends with my fb friends. All of them are different friends tho and I don't talk to any of them often.

I'm looking to get an electric scooter to go back and forth to work, the store, and my DND game. The farthest I need to travel would be 3 miles (6 there and back). I don't know how to drive a car but I know how to ride a scooter though I've never ridden an electric.
First of all it needs to have a basket or a seat. Both is a win but I'm not being picky. Second of all I don't have like 700$ to spend on a scooter. 400$ at most (minus safety wear, accessories, and a repair plan thingy).
Any suggestions are welcome as long as they pertain to a scooter below 400$, and has a basket or a seat ... Thank you :)
