Question for people who work/worked at HCL
So here is the situation I graduated from IIT with experience as a Devops Intern at IFS and my hope was to go in the ERP/DevOps track. That was my mind set when I applied to HCL after numerous failed interviews and ignored applications. I joined the company a few days ago.
I know that HCL doesn't have a good reputation/salary but I was okay with everything as long as I got some decent experience.
However now they have put me into ticket auditing and I don't see any future in that.
Question 1: can I stay in this position for a few months and change to a Devops role? Will they allow that
Question 2: Is it okay to just ignore these few days at HCL and continue applying for other jobs? What about the two months notice ? Will I get in trouble? I don't see a point in asking for a service letter since I haven't been there for even a month
Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
