good restaurant bar in Katy

preferably around the 77494 area.

Somewhere with good food, a fun atmosphere, and a social vibe where it wouldn’t feel weird going alone and maybe meet new people.

Any recommendations for places that get lively in the evenings or on weekends?

Adult ADHD evaluation recommendations in Houston/Katy?

Has anyone had a good experience getting an adult ADHD evaluation in Houston or Katy?

I searched the subreddit and saw Center for Optimal Brain Health mentioned before. Is that still a decent option?

I’m mainly looking for a provider/clinic with reasonable wait times, preferably BCBS-friendly or affordable self-pay, and evening availability if possible since I work 10–6.

Not asking for medical advice, just local provider experiences, approximate costs, and places to avoid.

First monitor setup for remote work, long logs, and eventual gaming. what specs and used prices should I target?

Got a new remote job recently and I’m looking for a monitor, or possibly two, for my work MacBook and personal HP OMEN laptop.

My laptops are:

Work: 14-inch MacBook Pro, M5 Pro, 48 GB RAM

Personal: HP OMEN 17t-ck200, i7-13700HX, RTX 4060 8 GB, 16 GB RAM

I originally hoped to use the setup for gaming too, but judging by the workload, that probably isn’t happening anytime soon.

Most of my work involves terminals, dashboards, and looking through long-ass logs.

I honestly don’t know which monitor specs matter most for this use case.

Is a 27-inch monitor enough for long logs and having multiple windows open, or should I consider a 32-inch monitor, dual monitors, or an ultrawide?

I’m also unsure whether 1440p is enough or whether 4K is worth paying extra for better text clarity on the MacBook.

For occasional gaming with the RTX 4060 laptop, would a 27-inch 1440p 144–165 Hz monitor be the best compromise?

I don’t have a firm budget because I have no idea what a good used monitor goes for these days.

Should I search Facebook Marketplace, or are new-monitor sales usually close enough in price that buying used isn’t worth the risk?

What would be a fair used price for a decent 27-inch 1440p monitor?

Ideally, I’d like:

Sharp and comfortable text for long workdays

Easy switching between the MacBook and OMEN

USB-C charging for the MacBook, if practical

Decent refresh rate for eventual gaming

Height adjustment or VESA support

No constant cable swapping

Which size, resolution, refresh rate, panel type, and ports should I prioritize? Any specific models or model lines I should search for?
