Hello, I would like to ask a question if anyone has been in this situation.

If Snapchat blocks / bans your friend’s account (for any reasons), is his / her account still in your friend list or the chat still remains instead of disappearing?

I’ve been talking to a friend and suddenly, she sent a “hey good morning” text and since then, I no longer heard from her (for 2 weeks until now). I checked her profile often but the green dot isn’t on and her snapcore doesn’t increase either. It’s not like she blocked me because her account and chat still remain. I have no other ways to contact her now.

So I guess:

1. She no longer wanted to talk and deleted the app from her phone?

2. Her account got blocked / banned by Snapchat?

Hey, nice to meet you!

I have always been intrigued by sending and receiving actual letters from people around the world. It’s cool, isn’t it? I used to have a couple of penpals before. However, we got carried away with our busy life and sadly, we no longer kept in touch.

However, it’s never too late to start again!

To help you get to know me better, here are some things about me:

- Currently I’m 31+, will be 32 in a couple of months. I feel old already 😭 Don’t worry, I’m young at heart.

- I am a secondary teacher. Thanks God it’s summer holiday now! I love scolding my students and I also love giving them candies 🤣

- I can be shy at first, but as people say: “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” When you know me better and we get along well, I can be quite chatty and funny. And I hope you are too :) I see myself as an introvert leaning towards being an ambivert person. Recently, I like going out and exploring the city when I have free time.

- I think I have a great taste in music haha. I listen to most kinds of music, from rock to old nostalgic songs. However, I’m not really interested in classical music or jazz. My most favorite is songs from the early 2000s.

- I don’t have any pets at the moment. Unfortunately, my good boy has gone in mid January. Since then, I still don’t have the courage to have another pet again. However, life has always brought you unexpected surprises at unexpected times. Two months ago, a stray cat appeared near the fence next to my house. Then, another one, another one and another one. Now there are like 15 stray cats waiting for food daily 😅 An orange stray cat is officially moving in and paying no rent 🙄

- I love fashion! Uhm but I’m not really someone who runs after trends. I just like to dress nicely and elegantly. I like to wear clothes that fit me well and make me look good. Also, mix and match a bit?

- Some of my other hobbies include:
• reading - I try to read 10 - 20 pages before bedtime

• working out - I go to the gym 3 - 4 times a week when I’m not lazy 🤪

• binge watching TV shows and anime - some of them are just so good, I can’t stop haha. I like crime shows or shows with meanings

• learning languages - as a teacher, learning is important. Besides, the students are getting smarter haha, I need to get smarter too. I like learning a new language because it helps me understand more about the culture and helps my brain work better. Currently, I know a bit of French and a little bit of German, still basic level 🥲

• playing old games - ughh I guess I’m an old fashioned person. I’m thinking about redownloading Yugi-Oh and Dyna Blaster on my laptop ☺️

I guess I just talk too much 🙀 okay, I should stop here and keep some mysteries to you to explore. I’m open to reddit chat and when we get to know each other better, maybe we can send letters too? :)
